Looks like we missed out on our main LWB target .. but we have 3 more that we are working on , NJ hopes to bring someone in tomorrow??
You forgot to put that you copied this straight from what Reams posted on the other forum.

Could have at least given him credit for it.

don't like tattoos. Dislike them even more when they cover all your body.

Who cares what you think of his tattoos? He certainly won't.

He probably dislikes grumpy old men, does he go around telling everyone on a forum if he sees one? I doubt it.

Dont necessarily see Dykes as scoring a lot of goals. If anything I see him, like Leaburn, being the sort of Striker that'll link the Midfield with Kelman, will pull players out of position and just be an overall nuisance.
He feels the proper sort of Striker that is available in January.
Always love it when people pop up with the line..."he's not a goalscorer as he creates space for others.. ".

If you play up front its your job to score. Can't keep leaving it to others.

Thinks its probably easier to list the things you do like Golfie.

    1. Golf
    2. sucking lemons
    3. Putting burst balloons in empty honeypots.

Charlton looking to keep Bree after Saturday game v Sheff Utd .. talks on going from Charlton Bible on Instagram

Im currently at a poetry/spoken word night with Amari'i Bell. I asked him if knows who the 4 LWB options are. His response was as follows:

"One of them is cheeky, one of them is Small.

The other is Sexy, the final one Tall."

Lots of interesting clues in here, hopefully 'rumourmill rudeboys' on Charlton Life can decipher this verse and identify our next LWB.

Main problem in the balance in the squad (& all season) is lack of cover for LWB. Resolve that & its a good window.

Would hazard a guess that's Fin Munroe who went to Boro , haven't been many other LWBs on the move.

take 2 of them and make sure one's Scanlon would be my advice
What about Scanlon has you convinced he's fit/even good at this level?
Fitness is definitely a huge question mark. But I think it’s fair to say he’d be good at this level. Millwall signed him, and they are a team pushing play offs which is better than we are at the moment. He started pretty well for them in his brief time before getting injured. So I think it’s fair to see he’s a championship level player, but the fitness/injury side of it would mean I’d rather we brought someone else in
Alex Neil essentially said he wasn't good enough when he was returned to Liverpool and he did only play 5 games for them, just seeing a lot of red flags with Scanlon once you interrogate it a little, he doesn't look like someone ready to come in at this level with all things considered but hard to say that with confidence when I hadn't heard his name before 2 weeks ago

First through the door an U21 left wing back from a top four Premiership Club. A Striker after that. They are also working on a deal for Bree.
    Source an ITK supporter Goddenole.
Interesting. This morning I spotted Miles Lewis-Skelly perusing printer cartridges in the Curry's on Woolwich Road.

Asked him what he was doing down South, he just winked at me and headed straight to the till to pay for his cartridges. Coincidence?

He didn’t say that. He just said that he probably wouldn’t have played much because they replaced him when he got injured and they were doing very well at the time, wasn’t a comment on his ability. You can’t read too much into his time at Millwall as it was only a few games but the fact they signed him and put him in their team says to me he’s good enough for us

The injury/fitness is a huge red flag, and I wouldn’t sign him due to that. If he did sign and got fit though then I think he’d easily be good enough for us at this level

We signed Anil Koc when on loan when were in the championship and he was shit, I want us to sign a left back I just don't know when the evidence that Scanlon is any good comes from to confidently say he's easily good enough to play 2nd tier football in a side fighting for their lives

I  think we can accept Doucher's recommendation. As a fanatical Millwall fan I imagine he knows the situation a lot better than any of us.

A fair few Stockport fans seem to think Tanto Olaofe is going back there on loan until the end of the season. I think that could be true, especially with the return of the sniffer dog and the signing of Dykes today (which I called this morning by the way, you are welcome everybody 😂).

seems logical, he's not gonna even get in the matchday squad with godden and dykes in it

I wonder if that has anything to with their highly rated left wingback?

Yup. No chance we could nab Ethan Pye to play LCB.

I have lived in a sizable (150,000 pop) city for 15 years, but was only driven by a lady taxi-driver for the first time yesterday. Petite, but covered in tattoos. I cannot certify they covered all of her body, but as she was wearing only a skimpy cotton mini-dress I know they covered most of it. I remarked that I had not had the pleasure before, and she replied that taxi-driving was only her second profession.
    erm ,does this go somewhere...
Pembury Addick thought it was funny, or weird, or something ...

I don't get the idea that Scanlon is our main target. He played his first minutes this week after being out injured for nearly a year (45 minutes in a friendly), and is well away from full match fitness. The Liverpool medical staff will want to monitor him for several weeks at least, not have him playing matches 200 miles away.

We would surely have been looking for someone to sign in early January, someone fully fit not a player who might (or might not) be available for loan at the end of the month.

    He wasn’t our main target.
  • Cannot see Tanto leaving until we get a LWB in. Edwards also very close to a return. That will free up TC to play further forward again.

TC and Kelman will be the pressers/runners and Dykes and Leaburn the target men. Anything we get out of Godden is a bit.

Tanto seems like a great lad and I can see why we signed him. Sadly, at the moment, his footballing ability isn’t up to the level.
