In all seriousness surely whoever thought it was a good idea to bring this bloke in has a few questions to answer ? how can we bring a player in that plays the position we are desperate for and after 2 months is leaving without ever playing, this and the other "hand of god at Wrexham" bloke must raise serious doubts on our recruitment4

Wait for it........Elthamaddick said:has there ever been a more pointless signing?7 -
I can't remember which game it was but I saw him hand a shirt to a kid in the east stand at the end of a game (bottom of block F). Presuming it was his own shirt, could be a real one of a kind.
Hope that kid has taken today's sad news okay, obviously a big Roussillon fan.

Only if we sign Richard Osman this week.Elthamaddick said:has there ever been a more pointless signing?
He will give us a bit of height at set pieces though.2 -
Just signed for Amiens in France. Charlton was a nice little fitness camp for him6

Retire the shirt18

He got his mum to sew up the neck and sleeves and uses it as a duvet.Michaelmon said:I can't remember which game it was but I saw him hand a shirt to a kid in the east stand at the end of a game (bottom of block F). Presuming it was his own shirt, could be a real one of a kind.

This type of thing has shades of Roland sending new players to the training ground. Jeez.1

Or use it as a pitch cover next time snow is forecast.JoshrewCAFC said:Retire the shirt3 -

If he's wearing 2026, they must have a bigger squad than ChelseaCallumcafc said:

The club have been given a lot of stick lately and rightly so but i doff my cap this time. Just popped down to say my goodbyes to the great man and the statue is already up. Goodbye and good luck my friend Jerome.

The move suited both parties he had somewhere to train and get fit we had another body in the building if our injures got any worse which they didn’t … win win for both16

Mate you get plenty of stick on here and alot of it is not fair but to say he was here if our injuries in his position got worse ??? how could they get any worse we literally dont have a LWB lol you do ask for the grief sometimesRonnieMoore said:The move suited both parties he had somewhere to train and get fit we had another body in the building if our injures got any worse which they didn’t … win win for both8 -

Within the time Roussillon was at the club the likes of Campbell, Bree, Fullah, Clarke all played on that side.RonnieMoore said:The move suited both parties he had somewhere to train and get fit we had another body in the building if our injures got any worse which they didn’t … win win for bothEven then he could not get a start which either shows that was not fit enough and that we had to play square pegs in round holes to patch it up. A waste of wages in the 2 months that he was here.
In his defence if we had replaced Small in the summer then our friend from across the channel would not have been on our books.2 -

Recruitment has been fantastic.0

Bumped into Jérôme on the Eurostar earlier, he was tucking into a 6 pack of McCoys.
Interestingly he had carefully opened the top of the multi-pack bag and emptied the contents of 6 the smaller packs into the 'master' bag. Had never seen that done before.
Jérôme caught me staring at him and simply said "this is a real man's grab bag" before shovelling a handful of crisps onto his mouth.
He seemed pretty content, so I wished him well and progressed down the carriage19 -
But he was our first choice all along according to the talking beard. Oh no that was Chambers. Sorry. My mistake. We are masters of recruitment. We really are.1

Fond memories of Amiens. Went to watch the total eclipse there in '99 rather than going to Cornwall where it was cloudy anyway1

And it goes without saying Campbell is clearly a better bet at LWB.RonnieMoore said:The move suited both parties he had somewhere to train and get fit we had another body in the building if our injures got any worse which they didn’t … win win for both0 -
Nice little town. Had a lovely time there on our last CL Battlefield Tour in 2024.Leuth said:Fond memories of Amiens. Went to watch the total eclipse there in '99 rather than going to Cornwall where it was cloudy anyway4 -
