I disagree that our remaining matches in 2025 won’t define our season. The harsh reality is that we now need to get points from the teams around us,
So, I’m forecasting a need for 6 points from the 4 games left, in order to maintain the current gap and deprive Pompey/Ox/Norwich of points. As for Jan can’t come soon enough, please prepare your bingo cards……
It’s a difficult window to do business
He’s not had much game time this season
He came to us with a slight knock
He needs time to gel
He’s more about the future than now
The loan window opens in a few days
The next 4 games will deffo define our season.5 -
I think our midfield is suffering with a lack options up front and the issue with left wing back. Up until the injury crisis, Coventry, Docherty and Carey were competing and Carey in particular was benefiting. The second half, against Boro, was an improvement but that's not saying much, we scored against the run of play, that gave us some belief and chances were created. I would play both Olaofe and Knibbs, the combination of Leaburn and Campbell doesn't work and Knibbs does get on the end of things. As for the left wing back, I would probably go with Fuller, a gamble maybe but we do have Rousillon on the bench and the option of moving Campbell to that position. I'd be delighted with a point but can't see it though.0

Can see NJ really going for as much aggression and legs in the middle as possible. I don’t think it’s going to be pretty for us, if we get the press wrong, we will be in trouble. Desperately need to find a solution and stop the rot. Even if we somehow get a backs to the wall 0-0 draw, that would be a turning point. We’ve kept 2 clean sheets in 12, this will also be our 8th away game in 13, it’s crazy.

Like it. I think we need him somewhere for his energykillerandflash said:I'd be tempted to start Anderson is a more advanced position, where he quite successful featured last season, as a pressing midfielder, rather than one there for goals, i.e.

Leaburn
Also in that position, his tendency to get caught on the ball will be less of an issue. Keeping it tight tomorrow is crucial. Let them have possession, park the bus and stop them scoring.0 -

they r strong at home but turn quickly if they don't get goals early on - if we go up there solid and keep them at arms length early on, we might just turn a corner and nick a win - they've got a reserve keeper in goal - i'm not playing i know , but i'm not going up there to lose - COYR!!0

Another stick your house on the oppo game .
draw at best for the zero goal threat boys0 -

Please no more than a 2 nil loss
I'd love a draw - I think we have a 15% shot
A win is a 5% shot

Many games I have seen in Birmingham at
St Andrews . Englands second city and not a favorite of mine. One ever lasting memory I will keep is walking back to New Street after our 3-4 game at St Andrews with Norman wonder where the next bit of agro was going to come from. Long walk that Norman.Suppose it would be to much to ask for same result today . Just get the players working for one another Nathan and pick the correct starting eleven to begin with please.4 -

We’ve lost 5 on the bounce anyway so I’d be more tempted to play Anderson as a striker and drop Leaburn behind him. Karoy’s main game is to get about a lot and get stuck in, basically causing mayhem and disruption, ironically not a million miles away from what Kelman was successfully bringing to our gameplan. If nothing else he’d stop the opposition back line pushing up so much and will probably give Leaburn and TC some more space.2 -
That would also give us somebody in a forward position for when Leaburn in a target roleletthegoodtimesroll said:killerandflash said:I'd be tempted to start Anderson is a more advanced position, where he quite successful featured last season, as a pressing midfielder, rather than one there for goals, i.e.

posItion has the ball belted up to him and he nods/passes the ball on (which is usually to an opposition player because no one from our side is up there with him )1 -
The lads will dig deep and come away with a shock 2-1 win which will be backed up next weekend. Stranger things have happened and if they never did we would all be millionaires and the bookies would all be bankrupt - believe and support!2

Mate saw Kelman in club shop and spoke to him
“Charlie Kelman said he's fit again, but the Consultant told him one more week, to be 100% certain. But he said he'll be back next week instead, playing full-time, which is good news. Plus, he reckons Amari Bell is back today at Birmingham, apparently.”
