CAMPBELL: - 6 Completely switched off for the Coventry goal. Became more disciplined after that, and was a real threat 2nd half.
BREE: - 5.5 Got forward with intent. But intent doesn't equal worth. Poor crossing, and, late on, bailed out by some marauding defending by Leaburn.
BERRY: - 7 I see Berry's performance different to others. Leads the press effectively, and, to me, was no surprise we lost control when replaced by Knibbs. A semi-overhead kick which drifted wide, an attempt to get on the highlights real for the season...
RANKIN-COSTELLO: - 8.5 (MotM) Right up front I'll say he's slow, and his shooting from range is laughable. Which we should be thankful for. If he had pace, and could hit a 20 yard thunderbolt, he wouldn't be playing for Charlton. His second half performance was right up there, as one of the best performances I can remember from a Charlton midfielder. Would have been an 9 if he could play 90 minutes. Outstanding.
KELMAN: - 8 I've always appreciated his work rate, and is looking strong, pacy, and intelligent. Starting to gel with Leaburn.
LEABURN: - 7 Hard working performance. As NJ has said, learning a new role. Even when scoring bucket loads of goals in the academy, was always the one playing off of Kanu. Now being utilised as a target man, and getting better at it. Gut busting run at the death to pull off a textbook sliding tackle. Got no help from the referee, when being constantly held.
Subs; KNIBBS: - 6.5 Ran around, gave us some energy, but not as effective as Berry in the press. Took one for the team when yellow carded.
CAREY: - 5.5 Has he been replaced by his evil twin since the heady days of the season beginning? Or maybe, he's just trying too hard...
