Nothing wrong with Les Berry other than he is getting on a bit.killerandflash said:Surprised Berry is starting, when we have so many options in that position, with fresher legs.4 -
Technically he’s fine at this level, lots of clever play and flicks plus an eye for goal. Physically he’s miles off it though, he covers plenty of ground but he’s just not quick or strong enough anymore to be effective as a starterSword65pf said:Can I just say although we may prefer an alternative to Berry starting, it doesn’t suddenly make him a bad footballer.0 -
Good job Berry's in the squad, or we would have nothin' to talk about...😉8

Obviously NJ doesn’t agree🤷🏻♂️NabySarr said:

Presumably this is Roussillon? Size difference next to Anderson!0 -
Just hope that he doesnt get a frosty reception from the travelling fans...eastterrace6168 said:Good job Berry's in the squad, or we would have nothin' to talk about...😉1 -
I think NJ's plan is to play as many as possible who have Championship experience, over half of this 11.Sword65pf said:

He does not trust a lot of the League One players, who to be fair to NJ have not really stepped up.2 -

I get what everyone is saying about Berry but he does have nouse and if he gets hold of the ball, u can guarantee he will do the right thing with it and he knows where the net is - wouldn’t be surprised if he slides Kelman in for a goal today2
-
Probably couldn’t argue with that.Southbank said:

Have you got your John Motson Sheepskin on? @LouisMendForeverAddickted said:0 -
Berry is strange but perhaps he is going man to man marking and the plan is Berry will do that job better than the other players.....having said that I bet (hope) he scores a hattrick0

Blackburn team and bench has been ravaged. We couldn't play them at a better time.2

Game called off in the 80th minute, just after we go 19-0 up.Off_it said:Just finished reading the "preview" thread and it appears that we are going to be 19-0 up when the game gets called off.
My question is; who do we think is going to score our 19 goals?
We lose the rearranged game 1-0.5 -

You jest (I think) about the score but it is snowing hard. You may well be right about the game getting called off!Off_it said:Just finished reading the "preview" thread and it appears that we are going to be 19-0 up when the game gets called off.

Snow coming down, TC don't look impressed...1

Why would snow cause it to be called off? Unless it's a complete blizzard and nobody can see. It won't be freezing if it's snowing and it won't waterlog the pitch.1

He bloody loves Berry.0

Berry is very good at organising the high press. Noticeably better since he has been playing.5

Can't see it being a problem, surface looks fineSouthbank said:Why would snow cause it to be called off? Unless it's a complete blizzard and nobody can see. It won't be freezing if it's snowing and it won't waterlog the pitch.0 -
You can see how effective the undersoil heating is, by the snow settling at the front of the stand.1
