Having read the entire thread again, I/we are still not sure if he is (A) currently carrying an injury (B) simply not match fit or (C) neither and is good to go? 😎🤔

Given Callum posting some recent ish U21 games I'm going to bank on B but he seems the character to stay as fit as he can so getting match fit should be ok

    Surprised noone's mentioned Ray Crawford.
    I liked his first album.
  • Concerned that he won't be fit and will be injury prone. So many signings fail to measure up....

Don't worry, we're coasting this division so can give players time to bed in.
  • It seems like his pedigree is not in doubt but how many games has he played this season & is he fit to play 90 mins on Saturday if called upon?
So we should sign someone but not this someone...

    Er....Yes.

Call me old fashioned but I thought the idea of signing a player was that they might actually, you know, be able to play in the next match you have.
Seriously have you thought about trying to not post as much?

Seems like he's been fit the whole time and named in Ipswich's 25 man squad he's just not getting mins behind Furlong and Ben Johnson. A club having 4 senior right backs on their books when you add Ashley Young is admittedly a bit weird.
  • If you'r in the Prem you need 3, one playing, one on the bench, and one in reserve to join the bench when the 1st choice gets injured, that's unless you have plenty of other players who can fit in "anywhere"

If he doesn't play the entire 90 minutes of our next match AND put in a MOTM performance then it's a terrible signing.

    Apparently.

VERY good, all action defender WHEN FIT .. he was recently out injured for quite a long time whilst on loan at Sheffield Utd .. I'm hoping he is not yet another one time very good player who's now hampered by persistent injuries .. sorry to be so pessimistic .. as ever, we will see

Wary of players with recent poor injury records.

    Wary of signings from Ipswich.

Fingers crossed I'm wrong and he's good.
    Lol

Yeah that Darren Bent must make us wary. He was way too exciting for us. I heard of people getting carried away, forgetting to note train numbers correctly, spilling their coffee on their rug and all sorts of disasters.
Golfie cheered a goal once and Large managed to lock the toilet door. It was way too much excitement for everyone.
Matty Holland as well - complete waster!

How many years ago where they, people are now worried because of our recent experience of signings from Ipswich. You are talking ancient history.

Yep. Recent signings like Ladapo, Fraser, Camara & Ahadme have been a disaster. Most fans remember them, a lot of fans were not around when we signed Holland, Bent & Hreidersson.
Fraser wasn't good in the end but I'm not sure I'd lump him in the disaster category. Had one decent enough season.

Looks like he had a foot injury in March then a knee injury in April, but struggled to get back from that injury. hence the gaps in his gametime for the Ipswich development squad.

Quite thin arms for a defender.

And the head of the celebration police.
  • I'm expecting at least 5 appearances from him this season. High hopes.

He’s fit but ‘hadn’t been able to break into the lpswich first team’.

Welcome Harry. My only surprise is that we have signed someone from the other “Town”

Didn’t realise that he was with Georgia Steel. Exceptional stuff.

This is the part I love about being in the Championship. The quality of WAGs is just a different level compared to League One
No wonder he's always injured. The poor man doesn't stand a chance

I was 46 when we signed Matty Holland - and that's ancient history?
