    Only one small return yesterday and gutted Search For Glory couldn’t make it over the last.
    Waiting to see if Peanuts has any picks for my favourite race of the festival, the cross country.

    It's one hell of a competitive race @paulbaconsarnie
    I had a free bet at my disposal and, while I think the fav is going to take some beating, if the going on the XC course is as decent as on the regular track, I've used it to back Final Orders (e/w 2 places).

    Few going for Wendigo in the 14.00 race. I'm on at 9/1.

    I was 70 a month or so back and my mates bought me a share for one year in this horse with Racing Club.

    If you've backed a horse that isn't up with the pace then the chances of you winning at this Festival on this ground is a bit of a struggle. Only real hope is that they go too quick and the pace collapses but these guys have a clock in their head.

    Said earlier in the thread. It’s my favourite race of the festival made even better when peanuts is behind a horse that wins.

    There’s also a race in Czech run in October each year that has similar obstacles.
