Difficult to know how much effect it will have had but the overnight rain cannot but assist Haiti Couleurs (win) and Spillanes Tower (e/w), which are my 2 interests in the big one today.
Spillanes Tower a N/R now apparently. I fancy lhomme presse e/w, fwiw
Not surprised as the ground has barely eased. JP quite right to pull his Soft ground runners.
Haiti C can operate on quick ground and still very much fancy him to score.
Will have an e/w on Firefox to replace Spillanes.

Christ, that was 11 secs fast of standard - that's 3/4 of a furlong!

Poor Envoi Allen put down after the Gold cup. A great servant for the de bromhead yard.
And wouldn't you know it Henry de Bromheads Air of entitlement rocks up and wins the last race at the festival.
Bit of light relief for the top fella Henry on what must've been a terrible day.

    Homebythelee 33/1
    Barton snow 10/1
    Gaelic warrior 10/1

    We’re my winners.

Think I’m around 200 up, interesting to see how bad the tipsters did, I had a spread of 7 of them with all selections and Gary o brien had 0 of 28.

Definately will return to attending next year as this year watching from the pub just wasn’t the same will be there weds and Thursday I think.

interesting that if you put a £1 stake on every horse on bet fair you would be £167 up.

Nice weather Thursday, and glorious Friday.
Had a free £2 bet on Skybet.
Haven't used the app for a couple of years.
Managed to turn that free bet into £180 with the help of Snowden horse e/w @20/1 and the 10/1 in the last.
Flight back to Luton then onto Potters Bar to see Welling win.
    Happy days.
