Not a single bad performance from our 11 that half
Performance would be better if Jones hadn't lost the dressing room... ;)

Zero excuses in the 2nd half, nothing other than a win will do from here

    Great half.

Lets hope Chambers can stay fit as good to have a proper LWB.

Hopefully we can get a third. A goal by Leicester and it'll be very nervy

Excellent half of football. So much more balance and structure with two natural WB’s.

Docherty really proving a point so far.

Maybe Chambers really was first choice. Had a great half.

Convinced you could put Bell in any side and he’d make them better.

    Clarke/Chambers/ Leaburn all outstanding.

That’s how you do well in this league. Get the wingbacks firing in crosses.

Jesus some of you lot are criticising before the team sheet came out! I quite like that line up! We ain’t going to play our way out of this mess, we are going to need to scrap!

On a separate note, has anyone looked at Oxford and Pompeys February fixtures? If you haven’t then I suggest you do!

    COYR!
    Up all of yous!

Even before the sending off, NJ has got this game plan absolutely spot on! You can see what he was doing! Nullifying them and going at them second half. Even better now. Have some nice sour grapes at half time!
As if anyone wants us to lose or be right. It was perfectly understandable to feel negative after the last few weeks. Let’s not forget they’ve had a player sent off as well.

Leicester can only make subs at HT and one other point now. I assume they'll make one or two at HT so if we can keep it at 2-0 until 55/60 mins we make it very tricky for them

The first 4 or 5 pages of these comments absolutely reek of a 2-0 away win.
Well… not even the happiest clapper on the forum could’ve predicted this

What a first half. Mad to say but there’s more goals in this for us. Got to stretch them with TC or Fevrier at some point.

Need to avoid conceding and letting them back in this.

All this talk of our weakness on the left side of defence, but with Bell back and Chambers looking good, what were we worried about? Long may Bell stay fit.
  • Shades of Blackburn at the moment what with getting a 2-goal lead
BUT at least we get into HT with the two goal advantage
Not to mention we still have Campbell to unleash on them, and Leicester can't just sit back

There is going to be a delay to the start of the second half as apparently Nathan Jones has lost the dressing room.
  • I could be eating a huge slice of humble pie at full time.

But having supported charlton for over 50 years I'm not going to cut it yet!

What a half of football. All our new signings look like Championship players, such a step up.

Get Lloyd Jones off and wrap him up in cotton wool, he’s moving a bit gingerly and there’s a big month ahead.

Must say Chambers and Clarke look quality signings, nice finishes from Carey and Dykes, well impressed on the first half showing...

Dykes sadly needs to be careful on a yellow
That's OK, we can bring on TC, Charlie or Godden to give them something else to crap their knickers about.

We’re worried about Bell and Chambers not being fit.

Are the underwhelmers feeling more whelmed by the transfers now?
    I actually feel whelmed.

Much more of an NJ type performance. We look really good in defence and going forward. More balance in the team with the new recruits. Early signs showing they have really added to the good players we already have.
Well done Charlton, another goal and I'll be a very happy supporter.

So far so good, but keep pushing for a third. If they get one back the game changes.

Chambers looks decent. Pleased about that but more for the miserable fuckers who doubted him.
