Was convinced after his 3rd foul he was gonna get a yellow in the first half.

very promising debut and he’s clearly got cult hero status written all over him

    Very impressed today.
Only 22 and is going to just get better and better.
Showed pace, strength and a will to win.
Needs to be careful not to pick up silly yellow cards.

A good debut - a bit ropey early on but not shying away from anything. Grew into the game and more than held his own. Would say he’s a hybrid of Jones and Ramsay. Let’s go, Collins 🇰🇪

Very good debut, and I sense there will be even better to come once he settles down.

Promising thing is he didn’t look out of place and looks like we can rely on him for the here and now rather than having to give him that settling in and transition period

A very good debut. He looked happy afterwards in his interview. He seems to like a scrap. He’ll get plenty of those in the Championship. I’m quietly impressed.

I'm amazed he lasted 90mins and didn't even get booked.
The Pompey ref would've sent him off after 20 mins!

From what I can tell, he isn't a violent player who makes red-card challenges, he's just unwilling to let both man and ball past him. Somehow did this artfully enough to not get booked. A craftsman

It helped him in the eyes of the ref that their winger would go down if you farted in his direction. It would be unfair to expect the lad to be the finished article but you could see his attributes which I thought were very positive. I would like to see one or two more signings from abroad in the summer as that seems to be where the value is.

Hmm, I'm getting vibes of the beginnings of another Naby scenario here :)

I could see him easily slot into midfield with the attributes that he has.

Wonder how the online vote for MOTM will go?

About as well as you'd think it would
This is brilliant. Might be a little annoying in a years time but hilarious for now. And I'm sure the squad will find it amazing.
How funny this is will be directly proportional to how well he does for us. The Reza was stuff was hilarious until he actually started playing and we realised he was made out of spider webs and cowardice, then it became incredibly annoying.

I think the guy has the makings of a great player for us. To come into the team in a very difficult game against probably the best winger in the league was asking a lot but he settled in great. Great bit of business and hopefully the first of a few from abroad

Interesting that he told Cawley he’s been aware of our interest in him for at least 6 months

I could see him easily slot into left wing back with the attributes that he has.

“The (next) best centre half you’ve never heard of!”  (c) Richard Murray  😏

Don’t think we could have asked for much more from Collins on his debut. Really, really impressed and, if he progresses like it looks like he can, then we’ve found ourselves a real gem.
  • Sorry if I've missed it but what is his song?

Signing him seems to've unlocked a few hundred new supporters in the form of Kenyan football nuts, going by Charlton's social media lol
