Could we put collin in midfield?
I'd prefer to play him in his natural position and improve the midfield in the summer

Better passing ability than our midfielders. I think he’ll be great next season.
Don't worry, Jones will soon have that coached out of him

Maybe we could put the guy in midfield who's done well for most of the season before Jones decided to blame him for a couple of goals and replace him with a bloke who cannot physically run
Didnt think Berry had had a great season tbf 😇

Coady has been way better than Coventry I’m afraid, which doesn’t say much about Coventry’s level second half of the season if the team is better with a bloke who cannot run. Coventry was great early on, apparently played through injury mid-season which explains why he dropped off, but recently he hasn’t picked it back up enough and Coady has been better. Coady has only lost 1 game as a starter

I like him and can see him becoming a bit of a cult hero but I've not seen anything yet to justify the level of praise he's getting on this thread atm
I think there’s been plenty of very good signs. He looks like a good box defender which is the bare minimum for a Jones defender, very aggressive and front footed, progressive on the ball and rapid in recovery when needed. Looks the perfect fit for our 3 at the back setup

Bit of a headless chicken and his positioning may be an issue but it probably takes the bare minimum to get into this current midfield
So Karoy Anderson but can pass? Put him in there.

I thought he looked like the one player performing without stress or nervous energy on Saturday. No doubt he will get caught out at some point (can we please not chastise him when he does?) but for now it's so refreshing to see someone in the team willing to take a risk and play progressively. Watching him step out of defence with the ball made me wonder why Ramsay and Bell seemed to have stopped doing this? Perhaps it is just the low risk approach we are taking at this stage of the season.

I'm sure the cynics will say Jones just hasn't had the time to coach it out of him, but I am excited by the prospect of Sichenje becoming a regular in this team and the improvements it can make to our build up play.

And the first time he plays badly, NJ will get it in the neck for putting square pegs in round holes...

I saw him against Wrexham and he looked great, him and Jones should be the first two names on the sheet next season

He was the only player that impressed me on Saturday. His direct approach and passing probably shocked the rest of the team that normally pass the ball backwards or to the other team.

Plays with no fear and believes in his own ability. Embarrassed Burke with his athleticism alone.

If he was meant to be coming in the summer then I hope other players coming will be of the same calibre.

I think we should just bypass the midfield, get Collins to thread the ball through to Godden who can bang it in.

If we could keep that unit of Collins/Jones/Bell you have 3 CBs that are solid and can pass and play. It would be massive.

He tries to play football and that’s what I like about him.

Do think there will be the odd red card here and there due to his tenacity, but so far you cannot question his effort.

I remain my usual pessimistic outlook he'll be bang average and liability by November next year

Harsh on Ramsay as at his best he’s also decent on the ball and can pick a pass.

The great thing about Sichenje for me is he gives Jones and Ramsay better competition.

Odds on a Kenya flag-inspired third kit for next season?

Sichenje, from what I've seen, is better in the air than Ramsay. Faster, too, I think.

I doubt he's as good as Ramsay one-on-one, though. I don't think anybody is...

Bit tricky seeing as it's got red in it, I'd have thought.

Kits are decided about 9 months in advance, so would have been finalised before we signed Sichenje

I admire your loyalty to your chosen player , Leuth (Sarr, Reeves), but it’s hard to justify that Coventry has been good this calendar year .  I prefer him to the Doc, admittedly .

I would die for him, he’s the best player we’ve ever had.

Tbh Collins being Leuths favourite after being a Naby fan is completely unsurprising haha.

I preferred his love for Ben Reeves .  Or Fraser .
