And very amusing to see Jones give the Stoke fans stick at the end. Or at least until one of their coaching staff who looked about a foot taller than Jones intervened!

Great win. We hit the crossbar and tested the netting on both sides of the goal. I enjoyed the game. It seems I might be in the minority, but I find you can't take your eyes off these Championship games.I did see LJ mention his groin at the end of the first half and was surprised he came out in the second. I really hope he's playing through a reasonable pain level and not doing any damage to himself, as he's ridiculously brave and is putting in 8 or 9 out of 10 performances while about 80-90% fit.Well done, all. Godden looked better in the second half after his 45-minute pre-season! Clarke, Coady, and Chambers are excellent additions. Three clean sheets in a row and joint second in the league for that stat now.3

Whilst I know what you mean, it's fair to say he's not quietly going about his business. I sit at the back of the West Upper and I could hear him keeping up a running commentary throughout the game. If there are any Stoke fans getting wound up by Jones’ post match reactions, that’s the definition of a snowflake. They hated him when he left and were very happy to give him stick when we lost up there earlier in the season. They can’t have it both ways.I hope we absolutely do the same at Southampton Saturday week and he’s telling them to f*** off at the final whistle- in fact even more so because he was there for such little time and pretty much brought in to do the impossible job. I think a lot of the stick he gets from them is quite unwarranted26

We wanted it more than them, and you could tell they had a cup game at the weekend. They didn't look like the team we played in Stoke.Credit to Campbell, he needed that tonight and deserves all the praise. He has been playing out of position last few games and can show what he can do against championship opposition. His work rate doesn't get the credit it deserves.Dyke is proving to be the target man we needed, Cody has changed the team dynamic. In fact all the loan players looked like they have been playing as a unit for months. Wouldn't mind any of them signing.Docherty is back to his old self (Cody makes him look good).Ramsey, Jones and Bell a dream back three.I think we are coming to understand what is our strongest XI now, which is needed going into the final few months.

I don't really get the "Jones giving some back is unprofessional" comments. In how many other professions do you have a few thousand people chanting that you're a c*nt? None. So the normal rules of professionalism don't apply.22

How fantastic it is now that we are mathematically safe from finishing bottom. And, if we play like that until the end of the season, it won't be long before we're safe from being in the bottom three. Having seen the turnaround since the Spanners game, I don't think that'll be an issue though. I think we can safely set our sights on mid-table obscurity.
I thought it was an enjoyable match tonight and am a little surprised at how many people are saying how poor it was. Considering it was two teams noted for their defences more than their attacks, I thought it was surprisingly free flowing and open. We rode our luck a couple of times, but rarely looked under too much threat. It was great to see us creating so many chances, even if we could only convert one of them.
I agree with other's about how good Dykes was, but I'd like to focus on Clarke & Chambers (there's a name for a firm of solicitors, surely). Clarke is absolutely tireless and has the energy to control his side superbly, whilst across the pitch Chambers has a vision rarely seen in a defender (at our level, at least); some of his passing is magnificent. Add to them, Bell being back to his best, Ramsay improving and Jones being an out and out beast and we are looking really strong. 270 minutes without conceding now. Finally, I've got to say well done to Campbell. Played in a position that suits him better, he showed what a handful he can be. Well done.

Nah, that's a bit mean. Given the number of times failing to take our chances has come back to bite us on the arse, I can understand the mentality. I just think it's healthier to choose not to get on a downer before it actually happens, because sometimes, like tonight, it won't. Tell you what if I was him I wouldn't shy away from doing what he did.8
