I'm beginning to think you're all getting your knickers in a twist.

Forget bed wetting, there'll be wrist slashing, if he doesn't sign...
Let us dream! 20 years or so of absolute fucking shite in the main and now we're excited about signing top players with loads of potential to take us on to the next level.

If it doesn't work out we'll hit the bottle, but for now I'm twisting my knickers and getting excited
    All well and good...

But don't go on a "Sack the board", and "Jones out!" rant if it doesn't happen...

Did Jes win anything on the tombola?
Only the consolation prize of a 4 year contract at Charlton. First prize was a bottle of whiskey.

Started watching CAFC in 1959 and there have been far too many false dawns during that time - anyone remember Albert Bennett? I wish I shared the optimism of many posters on here, but my gut tells me that this may be another transfer that eventually fails to materialise for no other reason than Charlton have disappointed me on too many occasions over the decades. I hope I am wrong.

Wing back Jordi Osie-Tutu who was rumoured to have failed a medical with us earlier in the summer has just signed for Millwall.

I reckon Millwall have a spy in the Sparrows Lane bushes based on him & Dykes ending up there!

Maybe their usual right back Camra is leaving bearing in mind they brought in Mark Sykes from Bristol City as well earlier in the window.

Thats a good move for him. Surprised Millwall would look at him tbh - along with Dykes they have certainly got some average in this summer.

Agreed. He was a hard working, likeable player, hope he has a decent career.
  • When is JRS expected to sign if he is?

All the comments on Twitter are saying how they'd rather have kept McNamara

Think Crama has picked up a heavy injury thus a bit of a scramble for them

Osei-Tutu is like Small, he'll play more advanced than Crama or Mcnamara.

My scum supporting "friend" thinks he'll be a cheap replacement for Azeez too and that Millwall are hoping he's another one that they can make better and sell on in a couple of years
  • Being in NZ, i have no chance of ever being ITK but it is of some comfort to have a panoramic view from my office window of commuter trains, freight trains, and the occasional steam train. From the same window i can see a couple of passenger ferries. And an assortment of buses regularly rumble past.

I don't mean to brag but look at the girth of those railway sidings in the background. (for the nature lovers there is a few rabbits living in among the greenery on the bank)

If Millwall or Palace fans ever get ahold of this, we’re finished.

    (Send more train pics)
I've got you @ElliotCAFC . Note the Cargo ship (possibly livestock ferry) that has just arrived and at the far right ...Cranes!

    Oi Kiwi Valley.
Don't look out the window too much this morning or you'll have nothing left to do this afternoon mate! Do you like Arse or Leemon in your tea?
