Thankyou, I’m a good judge of character and cheers for the free lol😜wolfgang said:
Brilliant. You have described my behaviour accurately. I have just LOLd your post, by the way.Sword65pf said:
I call it the lol of derision, instead of people just saying they disagree they do a snide lol like they are better than anyone else, then you get the ones who just read who has written the post and lol of derision it!!😂wolfgang said:
I interpret LOL as a derisive sneer.captainbob said:
I assume that kips is like me and treats 'lol' relatively literally. I cannot give a lol unless a comment provokes a laugh, a guffaw, a titter or slight expulsion of air from the nostrils. If there is none of the above, the correct reaction is a 'Like'.FishCostaFortune said:

To be fair, the picture @SheedyCAFC posted of the smashed up car with the number plate “BONNE” is a candidate for post of the year.ProperCharlton said:

Would love to know more about @Kips 'like' giving thought process.
Could the mods please make this mandatory?1 -
Wrexham won’t miss a chance to overpay for a player.Crispywood said:Can’t see Wrexham or Burnley being interested. Wrexham for starters don’t even play with wingers and don’t think a recently relegated club in Burnley would look at Rak-Sayki and think he’s the type of player to help them back into the prem.7 -
All I can say is that I'm glad I'm never ITK........that way I can never let anyone down 🙂.wolfgang said:Golfie is today's loser. He alone has been pleading for us to sign a no.10 playmaker. Finally, Jones agrees to buy one just to stop Golfie's whinging, only for Albert Bennett to fail a medical.8 -
Let’s see what happens instead of guessing what might have happened. Still think he will sign for us.2

Also he has not moved forward as he probably would have liked since the Plymouth home game.DOUCHER said:
A more sobering thought is we're getting all excited about signing a player palace don't want - having said that, looking at their recent transfer business.....TheHerminator said:
Let us dream! 20 years or so of absolute fucking shite in the main and now we're excited about signing top players with loads of potential to take us on to the next level.SteveACS said:I'm beginning to think you're all getting your knickers in a twist.
Forget bed wetting, there'll be wrist slashing, if he doesn't sign...
If it doesn't work out we'll hit the bottle, but for now I'm twisting my knickers and getting excited
I am keen for him to sign but he's not the next Ryan Giggs.1 -
Burnley are not interested in Saki they are after Kone of QPR …..doronron said:Palace are getting what they wanted,Charlton and Burnley bidding for there player ,I wonder how far we will bid2 -
Literally pulled that from the other site lol, also Kone and Rak Sakyi are completely different types of players. They could easily be interested in both! Hope its definitely gonna be us who gets Rak Sakyi but football is football and anything can happenRonnieMoore said:

So JRS is going to Burnley and we’re getting Kone?RonnieMoore said:

How about mulk or leemon? Billy Connoly used to take the piss out of the Kiwi accent when visiting.KiwiValley said:
Arse or Leemon ? I’ve spent 15 mins trying to understand what you’re saying and am completely lost. But it did make me think of Rachel Riley in a tight pair of yellow satin undies so I thank you.CharltonManor1966 said:

If Millwall or Palace fans ever get ahold of this, we’re finished.KiwiValley said:Being in NZ, i have no chance of ever being ITK but it is of some comfort to have a panoramic view from my office window of commuter trains, freight trains, and the occasional steam train. From the same window i can see a couple of passenger ferries. And an assortment of buses regularly rumble past.
I don't mean to brag but look at the girth of those railway sidings in the background. (for the nature lovers there is a few rabbits living in among the greenery on the bank)
(Send more train pics)
Don't look out the window too much this morning or you'll have nothing left to do this afternoon mate! Do you like Arse or Leemon in your tea?
You obviously haven't lost your English accent since going down there to upside downland so it was wasted on you, but very happy to have given you happy memories of Rachel Riley's arse.1 -
I hope Wrexham haven't seen the light and are now going with 2 wingers so they want both JRS AND TC? Unlikey but a scary thought!Crispywood said:Can’t see Wrexham or Burnley being interested. Do you remember these words when Phil Parkinson was a pundit/guest at the play off semi final when CAFC played Wycombe away:
"Charlton and Wrexham are in the same market for players."
I thought he said it tongue in cheek but as Cafc are trying to push the boat out to get Rak-Sakyi for around the 5 million mark then we are now at their lower end for players since they have been in the Championship.
Before they just paid higher wages and still do.
Unlike the myriad of CL members who say they are ITK I'm not but Burnley need a winger after selling Tchaound to Coventry in a potential 20 million deal.
So 5 million for JRS is not a problem for the yo-yo club.1 -
Pissed off with seeing the name of that bloody Welsh mob on here...😖6

Hoping we've done the jrs deal but even if we haven't, it clearly shows we have the intent and the resources to go for a player that is gonna cost us a bit so hopefully an alternative if not jrs. I know nothing other than what i read on the message boards but my feeling is its done and will be announced at a time when it suits the club - same as TC. Maybe holding back to strengthen our position when selling players we need to get off the books due to numbers restrictions.3

I’d like to think that there is a backup plan if JRS doesn’t sign but time isn’t on our side if we need to work on both deals and JRS goes to the wire.3

If JRS was a Burnley level player there wouldn’t even be any discussions about him coming back we would have no chance of getting him.soapboxsam said:The Red Robin said:

So 5 million for JRS is not a problem for the yo-yo club.We have a level of bias when it comes to JRS as a player after what he did for us, other teams at this level will care more about how he did at Stoke and Sheffield United at championship level in the last 2 years opposed to what he did for a L1 club 3 years ago4 -
This is my main concern is that Palace run this to the deadline and we end up short.ShootersHillGuru said:I’d like to think that there is a backup plan if JRS doesn’t sign but time isn’t on our side if we need to work on both deals and JRS goes to the wire.0 -

Continue pursuit of JRS, and risk failing?
Or drop it, and pursue someone who we are guaranteed to get before the window closes?
And if you think option one... will you then blame the club and NJ for us being one player short?
(And, yes, I know there are no guarantees when it comes to transfers, but this is a hypothetical...)0 -

As come January, the next time he can really move, he'll be entitled to start talking to clubs outside of England... and then they end up with absolutely nothing for him, worse they're even more out of pocket (pigeon feed no doubt), because they'll be paying his wages between now and January.3 -
We'll have 2 or 3 irons in the fire in case Palarse play silly buggers. That's why we then also get linked to people like McCowatt and the like15
-
Yeah I guess I've just been burnt over the years by years of us " not getting deals across the line" and ending up with some of the panic loans we've had in the past.ForeverAddickted said:MarcusH26 said:

I'd like to think JRS and his agent won't let it get to deadline day because otherwise he'll end up in Turkey again or some other league with a later closing window than ours and he won't want to be stuck playing U21 football for 6 months.
Hopefully we've got a couple of really good options on the table and we don't get caught out.4 -
-
Surely we’re capable of doing both at the same time and then, if we get JRS, all good and if not we have a back up.SteveACS said:
