My predictions are 1) Doc gets released on a free to a Scottish club 2) Kaminsky ends up in the Netherlands or Belgium for an undisclosed fee at the end of the window (probably for 1 million or a little less) 3) Asiimwe is loaned out to league two side. 4) Kanu is sold on the last day of the window for much lower than the 1 million asking price 5) Apter is loaned back to Blackpool with us covering a majority of his wages. 6) Kelman is left out of the 25 man roster until the January window due to injury.  Burke is left out of the 25 man roster with no takers
Excellent set of predictions. If that all happens I would be impressed with management. I suspect NJ will try to hang on to Burke unless there are no other options. Burke is one of his cronies.

When I suggested releasing Docherty on a free in acknowledgement of his service, I was abused for wanting to run the club as a charity.

Why the hell would you leave your best striker out the 25 when he back fit and ready to play !!!!
He obviously shouldn’t be left out .  I’m intrigued to see the pecking order though when everyone is fit .
    Leaburn, Godden, Kelman, Mbick probably.

Mbick, Kelman, Leaburn, Godden by the end of the season!
Think you are over egging Mbick at the moment.
    100% Accurate.

Has struggled every single time that he’s been subbed on for us.
Not saying he will not be good in the future, but finding the clamour for him is a bit OTT at the moment. Don’t think he is as good as people are suggesting yet.
    Completely Agree.

That injury he had would also have set him back.

An average 3 bed semi in Plymouth is currently around £300-350,000
@clb74 still thinks you can get a 5-bed detached down there for 50k
TBH (to be honest  ;) ) thats's low, somewhere nice its around 400-450k

Hull City have reportedly had a £7m bid rejected for Stoke City winger, Sorba Thomas and Leicester have put a 7 million price on Mavididi…. Just shows how tough it is getting these sort of players ..
Leicester have their backs against the wall - they will have to accept well under that figure for him. They have no choice
Not so sure that’s true - they’ve sold a few players for big money already.
  • From what i understand

Someone asked TC on Snapchat announce JRS WYS "meaning.. "What you saying"

And the reply was SNM which I took as face value to mean "saying nothing mate" again, could mean something completely different, its all speculation and I could be way wide of the mark.

I've seen 5m floating about as a fee

I would be extremely surprised if that is the actual number.

You think is would be less @FinlandMatt ?  5m is the number I've heard
Tbf it's the number everyone has heard because it gets mentioned about four times a page on here

McCowatt was on the scoresheet again for Silkeborg in the Danish Superliga tonight. That's now 2 goals and 2 assists in their first 5 games. Just saying...
Maybe he’s the backup for JRS if Palace are messing about.

From a source at Palace, I am told that both Charlton and Palace have agreed a deal for JRS and that JRS has also agreed terms with us.

Apparently, everything is ready to go, but Palace are holding off in the hope that a bigger bid comes in. If no bid comes in by the end of transfer deadline day, he will be joining us.
If that's the case, we should drop our interest, and look elsewhere, or risk being a man short.

We shouldn't be held hostage by any club, for whatever player.

Yeah, but the news about Palace playing hardball suggests to me that it's pretty much over if anyone else comes in. Which is likely.

I don't. I'd like us to sign him, but... I don't like the idea, that he only has to turn up at the door, and the good work done by others to get us in the position we are, gets kicked to the curb. Which us what everyone will be clamouring for. As seemingly everybody wants to have his babies.

As I said, none of you know he's going to be better than what we already have. You basing it on a truly outstanding season he had for us. A few years ago. In League 1.

Also... no player is bigger than the club! And that's the game Palace are playing.

Surely the ball is firmly at the feet of JRS here? He holds all the cards.

Simply says to Parish, accept the Charlton bid and let me move on or I will run my contract down and you will only get a development fee.

The general consensus in football is that the power sits with the players. If he is as keen to move here as we have been led to believe then he can force the transfer through
You’d think that if this is the advice JRS is receiving from his agent then he would have done that. Purely a guess but I think his agent is doing his job and saying something like wait and see what happens. Don’t jump the gun. If nothing happens you’ll get your move to Charlton but a few more days won’t stop that. On the other hand a much better offer to you might materialise. Again purely a guess. We’ll sign him late on deadline day.

    (Sighs)

So, a fake twitter journalist puts up some fake news, and CL goes from slightly bonkers, full of people who spend too much time playing 'Football Manager', to bat shit crazy...

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. We're well covered on the right. No-one knows JRS is going to be better than Grant. And Grant has far more experience in the Championship than JRS. And we have cover with Apter and Alli. Maybe NJ has decided to look somewhere else? Maybe we should temper our expectations a little?
Why are you so anti-JRS? Didn't even need to see the username to know it was you
I'm not anti JRS, at all. It's just everybody assumes he's going to be the dogs boll**** for us on zero evidence. And immediately discounting Grant, Alli, and Apter at the mearest hint of fake news that comes in. Hasn't Grant done enough already this season to, at least, be 'in possession of the shirt'?
I don't believe Grant will be dropped if we sign Rak Saki
I see it as Rak Saki on the left
    Campbell on his prefered Right
Grant playing more central behind the main striker
And that looks pretty good to me
That's literally the opposite of how they play, Campbell prefers the left, JRS plays off the right
    I know, I know
I got it the wrong way round guys.
    I blame the hot sunshine
My wife struggles with her left and right too.

She claims its a sign of intelligence....
Not in @blackpool72 's case, it's just that he's very old.

    But I still love him

It’s not just based off that though. He’s also played in the championship and done alright. Scored 7 in 35 games for Sheffield United which is better than any of our players have ever managed other than Grant quite a few years ago

I think if JRS signs we are in for a treat because of him and TC being good mates. With him on the right TC on the left trying to out do each other should provide some fantastic displays imo

Sheff u fans rated him in their promotion chasing season when they should have gone up

more importantly he will give us balance and make TC even more dangerous
