Kaminski deal is initial loan with triggers to make it perm if met according to Rich Cawley.

Hope it’s not based on catches or number of times he leaves the six yard box.
Charlton have said if he does either of these things they can have him for free!!

I do think if Bindon was close, Rich C would've said something by now.

Personally, probably not enough time to get it done today, but with some luck, be announced in time for Wednesday.

I just hope Forest don't demand that he plays. Wouldn't like him to prevent our own players from getting on the pitch.

Honestly wouldn't surprise me if we took him on loan with a view to something more permanent if it goes well (ie he doesn't get injured)
Don’t think a loan is in the interest of palace, unless it has an obligation to buy at the end should he stay fit and shows no foreseeable problems, lots of ifs but wherever he goes now clubs will have certain stipulations, think palace will have they’re pants pulled down with this one.
I agree think its gone kinda wrong for them.

I still think our priority after Bindon is another CB btw. We need a Jones back-up
no chance - a right wing starter is the next priority

Maybe I’ve missed something but why are we writing Kanu off already. Couldn’t he be our ‘new’ right winger?
no - he's a goalscorer - everything else in his game is a bit below standard other than maybe closing down

I don’t think they can - pretty sure that’s contrary to the rules around 3rd party interference over team selection.

Yes, it's not a real thing, unfortunately it comes up nearly every time we get a loan.

Unless they think they won't get anything anyway if there is an issue, so a small loan fee and a wage off the books is still an improvement.

Don't think it'll happen, mind, and think another club will take a risk on him for a lower fee.

What a lot of clubs now do, is put together a deal where the contribution from the loaning club is lower if the player is playing enough. If he’s not playing then we have to pay more of his wages that month. Likely that will be in the deal to incentivise him getting minutes

I think we will be fine on that front though because he will start every game initially and then still probably get enough starts/sub appearances when Koumetio is back

Someone "over there" suggesting that JRS did in fact change agents, and the old agent is kicking up a stink demanding a fee and that's what the "dispute" is
You mean a bit make when you are selling your house & you change Estate Agents after 6 months on no offers and then the old EA wants their fee when the new EA sells your house 🙂

You may jest, but anyone from the executive search sector - a model of probity compared to this lot - wíll confirm that this is a very plausible scenario.
Who knows how long ago JRS became a target for transfer? If an ‘enquiry’ was made pre-bid with the old agent, it doesn’t feel a stretch to believe they would claim the transfer started at that point rather than when a formal bid came in (if they had been moved on by that point). You would hope JRS was operating under a contract with clear notice period and termination clauses contained but I have no idea if agents operate in such a professional way?
I would say the agent would need to take part in the negotiations to have a right to a claim.
It sounds like this should ultimately be a legal matter between the two agents.

We should deal with the current agent only, and get the deal done (if the medical was ok) then leave the old agent to sue the new one for a cut, if he believes that's what he's entitled to.

We certainly shouldn't be expected to pay fees to two agents.

    Nwaneri loan?
You have to be kidding me.

AC Milan, Red Bull Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Fulham are among the clubs to have shown an interest in Nwaneri.
You say that but we fought off West Ham, Benfica and Nantes to sign Polish Pete

    Come on, guys!

Surely one of you could find a right winger, who left Charlton in Nineteen hundred and frozen to death, who's without a club, who could "do a job for us", who we can discuss for the next 6 pages...

    That's what usually happens, right?
Only if they’ve previously played for Charlton.

Well if Bindon IS en route doesn't look like he's made it in time for tomorrow. Possible it was all done in time but the lack of anything from club/Cawley makes me think it isn't quite there yet.
But hopefully we have enough to see us through one weekend.
Doesn’t he need to be registered before 17:30 to be available for tomorrow ? I doubt he’d be included other than the bench regardless.
More the fact that we've heard nothing "official" or via Cawley suggests its not quite at the done deal stage as normally RC has some sort of piece once things get towards the finish line.

I have no clue but I suspect Cawley is correct in that the Rak-Sakyi deal is dead. We definitely need a right winger through the door and can’t afford to play silly buggers with Palace and or agents and take it to the wire. I hope that’s the reason behind it falling through and not some medical issue which would be a shame for the player.

If JRS has changed agent and his old one wants a pay day, isn’t that the players issue to deal with rather than ours or Palaces’s issue?

People aren’t actually being serious when they say this are they? There’s more chance of us signing Scott Wagstaff.

If the agent story is true, basically Palace have an unsalable asset because the issue would apply to other clubs who are unlikely to cough up an extra (up to £0.5m?) agent cut. Might Jordan cut his losses for a £1m loan fee or do agents get a cut on those?
Jordon has nothing to do with Palace now

Tyler Bindon...oh wow, that's fantastic news.....er.  Who is he!?
Not 100% sure, but I think he’s a centre back who can balance a pint of lager on his cock.
  • Anyone inquired about hijacking the Barcola deal?
