Do the poor attitude rumours come from disgruntled Leicester fans? Or are there other sources?

Sky reporting Skipp agreed on a season long loan
I know I am against the grain here but I honestly think NJ will get the best out of him. His pedigree is head and shoulders above anything we have signed in years - actually pleased with this.

Just watched this, paying attention to the movements and actions of the Leicester number 22 for both goals and the red card, and now I want our fax machine to explode immediately
Leicester got better after he was sent off.

I think that’s it for the window personally.

Waiting for Leicester to get someone in so Skipp can go out it’ll be a “we tried to get one over the line but didn’t have the time”
I'd rather keep the rest of our powder dry for the January window than bring in Skipp.
Why? Our midfield is still not right. Chalobah will not play many games and Mwamba is 18. Why wait until a difficult January window when we can try to fix it now.
With Skipp??- relegated twice in 2 seasons, a leading part of a dysfunctional team annd allegedly massive wages.

NJ may get a song out of him, but it could backfire and fuck up our brilliant team spirit.

I’d rather we re-signed Coady if he is fit because he has a better influence on our squad.

Last thing we need is a player like Skipp, but in NJ we should trust !

Just a thought - have we ever signed a player who has at some point cost £20m? I,m not saying for a second he’ll be good btw, just interested. Grant cost £15m once but has anyone else cost as much?

I've softened to the idea of Skipp. We're still in a place where we need to take risks because we can't afford to buy guaranteed quality. Hopefully NJ can get him firing

Leicester has been a complete disaster since Marseca left, the players do need to be held to account, but it’s been poor appointments at coaching level and owners who don’t care

Amount of moaning about our signings on here  Nkeng was being chased by many club, I think we're lucky to have him. No use crying about JRS it was dead in the water so we move on. Although I do realise some will never be happy that's forums for you.
Maybe lucky to get him, but I just hope that, if he ever has the nerve to step onto the pitch in a league match, our gallant supporters will subject him to a storm of boos and catcalls for not being Rak-Sakyi.

I think the former. I can only find positive comments about his attitude from former managers such as Conte. Even Mourinho said: ""I see this kid being one day a future captain here by his character, by his personality. I feel really happy that he signed".

Of course, people can change. But Leicester have had a few terrible seasons, and it seems as though everyone associated with them has been tarnished by that

The way some posters talk to each other on forums sometimes makes me wish the internet wasn’t invented.
The best part is, we all share a common goal and support the same team. You'd think we would just try and get along without all the digs and personal insults.

Don't mind a disagreement, but as you say, the way some of our fans talk to eachother on here and social media in general is a shambles.

Think it was chunes who said it before but some posters have turned the positive/ negative thing into a forum personality so now you've got people purposely going out their way and being aggy to desperately prove how much more positive/ negative they are than you.

    Sad really.

I just think we can only rely on Chalobah for 10-15 games a year max...... I would suggest we use him as the rotation option in a 3 game week.... (ie he comes in for the midweek game etc). He cant do much more than that. We then have Mwamba who is young (brilliant but young).... can't play him every week. Doc going. JRC too slow.....

    That just leaves Ouma.

I don't know about his attitude, work rate or skill levels.

I just think it's stupid to sign someone who's just about to serve a 3 match ban...

This is my worry, that we’ve bought a dud in Ouma. Shouldn’t judge some one on a couple of appearances before being fully fit, however…

    lol.........

As I said about a dozen pages ago......been tracking him for some time. Yeah, about 6 days since JRS deal fell over. Just need a quote from NJ about Luton & we'd have the transfer bingo card completed.

My view is, the owners don't want to keep having to fund transfers and/or want there to be a bigger transfer kitty in 2/3 years time. So we are buying young players with potential so that we can sell on for £5m/£10m/£15m in the future. Azeez at Millwall being the latest example of that.

Will it work....who knows. Is it a gamble.....most definitely. It didn't work with Kahim Dixon and to a lesser extent Tanto & Apter.

I liked the look of him on the YouTube clip posted earlier, but he himself says he is a left winger who likes to cut inside. In the YouTube video he is shown playing on the right and it does look like he is predominantly right footed. Will he be the answer to our right wing woes ?  Probabky not as a starter, which is a shame because neither TC nor Grant work playing on the right.

It might work out but it is far from what is needed and what we've been led to believe we've been keeping our powder dry for.
Player himself confirmed he heard of our interest a month ago, so there you go, wrong again
Read my post from yesterday / day before where I said what I reckon the club will say when the announce JRS "replacement".

You have to learn to take some of my posts tongue-in-cheek

     What kind of cheek?
    Ruben Loftus-Cheek signing.

Surprised actually that Charlton have been able to get a Skipp so easily - Usually I thought you had to apply for permits and the like to have one outside?

I thought the main problem with our midfield was further forward. We still haven't addressed that issue imo.

And if Chalobah is injury prone why did we bring him in ?  Answer.....because he was cheap (free).

Don't seem to have learnt much have we ?

(And btw I'd stick with Mwamba as Chalobah's deputy).

Skipp is younger than Coventry, once cost £20m and is hated by one set of fans because he came in when they became crap and slid down the leagues, so pretty much every player in that squad is hated by them, but they've been a proper basket case for a couple of seasons and I don't think the problem is player level, I think it's more ingrained than that

I didn't get to watch the Spurs game, was Ouma really that bad?
