Sky said the deal was done hours ago.
Now, they're saying he's at Charlton
So... not done then?3 -
Lots of windows still open, think Portuguese window still open until 15th.SDAddick said:So with Skipp we're at 27 right? So we need Doc to go (Scottish and MLS windows still open) and one more, probably either Knibbs or my guess Apter to go. Scotland for Apter might be good. He's from up north and I assume that and Scotland are just the same thing, really, right?0 -

I think I'd fuck with that. Over here, Oatmeal (porridge) can be a sweet thing. I love a little sweet and salty combination. Might try that sometime.wolfgang said:

If Skipp went through shouldn’t we also expect some outgoings here?0

Unless they’re moving to Scottish clubs? The Red Robin said:If Skipp went through shouldn’t we also expect some outgoings here?2 -

Skipp would be a terrific signing - Prem experience - smart - experienced - would keep that bar high in training - Firmly behind this3
-
Patience. Only just gone 11pm, plenty of time to get things done and announce it. At least it doesn’t matter Skipp having a late night, he’s suspended tomorrow and I think Saturday anyway. The Red Robin said:If Skipp went through shouldn’t we also expect some outgoings here?2 -
Right... Now who's available as a free agent4

Redrobo said:Quite shocked that so many on here don’t see the potential of Mbick.
6’ 4” strong, very mobile, hard shot, scores goals:- 1 in 3 last season. Lower league but that is a great strike rate.Capped for England U20’s 2025.
Only 19 yrs old.
He is going to be a top top striker.
Paul Walsh, Robert Lee, Paul Elliott, Joe Gomez, Lee Bowyer, Joe Aribo and Ademola Lookman are just some of the players that I watched for a few minutes as teenagers and predicted top careers for them.
So far I haven't felt that with Mbick but maybe I have missed the games when it showed that in a Charlton shirt.
Before his injury I saw him score a couple of decent goals for Colchester but that was League 2.
Against Spurs it was Alan Mwamba who I thought was a class player and felt he is ready to be a regular in the 16 players who gets game time.
Mbick had one good run in the midfield area but was tackled in possession. I can see he has the frame and I'm looking forward to seeing if he can replace Leaburn at the business end of a game and make an impact.
Southampton, Brighton, Cowley and NJ think he's top quality so I'm sure we will all see it soon in a Charlton shirt on match day.

@stjohnshill just wants the business confirmed so he can hibernate for the rest of 202614

Which could make sense for Doc and Apter.Scoham said:
