I dislike Karlan and I don't think he's a particularly good striker so I hope we don't sign him

I see the hurty feelings brigade are out today re K. Grant , I think it would be a decent signing, still fairly young , if indeed it is true and that’s a big indeed .
    Of course it's not true.

Jeez......people will believe any old bollox that is posted on Social Media.

Wow he's only 28, feels like a lifetime ago he played for us.

I'd be surprised if we signed him, imagine he still sees himself as bigger than Charlton.

Think Grant as a footballer is around about the standard of player we can expect to bring in however his histrionics, attitude and injury record probably means there should be better options for us

Grant will end up in Turkey or something. Can't see him being a genuine target for us , will want way too much in wages before we get to all the other baggage with him.

As it stands I assume what we have at the moment is what we start the season with.
I am glad that Daniel Kanu is staying.
Also personally glad other academy graduates (though not Zach Mitchell) are staying, as that situation justifies having an academy in the first place.
Maybe I am alone in not spending the summer yearning, despite the club being owned by something like a consortium of a dozen multi billionaires.
That is such a weird assumption though. To assume that in a month absolutely nothing will happen? No-one in, no-one out at all? Not happening.
There may not be much that happens and it may be good or bad business but it won't be nothing at all.
    I wrote ‘as it stands’.
Neither did I write that nothing will happen.

Please don't start casting these spider webs again.

"As it stands" is a completely pointless qualifier though. How it stands right now means absolutely nothing. There is no chance, at all, that what we have now is what we start the season with. None.
