  • Bring home Dobbo. Bring in Holsgrove. Bring home JRS.

If Carey does go then we must replace him. I’m not sure what people see in Knibbs. He’s a battler but lacks quality in my opinion.

He hasn’t been great for a while but I would like to see us give Conor Coventry a proper chance. We know how good he can be. I think we’ll see the best out of him with better players around him personally.
He desperately needs someone decent next to him.

Lewis Wing much better than what we have in midfield. Coventry and Doc terrible. Ramsay awful. Bell not a full back. Godden doesn’t look fit. Lea burn and Alli looked decent. But it is only a pre season friendly, the result doesn’t matter blah blah.
Take away the two goals, is he then good enough?, he won’t score two every week against a keeper unable to move. Thats what you need to consider before signing him, why isn’t he playing champ football at 30yrs old?
I have watched him for a number of years and let me tell you he is better than our midfield.
He probably is in terms of producing moments. I'm not sure he would solve are problem in terms take control of a game and doing the defensively side of the game well.

As bad as Doc and Coventry are in terms of when we have the ball and the Emphasise is on us to brake down opposition. They are good when it comes to disrupting the game that's why we are better suit against the better teams at the top of the table rather than the teams at the bottom.

Definitely need someone in there better to solves them problems we have. They also have to compliments Cov and Doc weaknesses in the ball. Mwamba is short term solution till we get someone in especially against Derby not so much against West ham.

NJ empathising in that interview he wants 2 more signings, would Chalobah be one?

Doubt it , I think Chalobah will happen late if we have the squad space.

2 more signings to fix that, I don't think so.

Of course they were. Convenient excuse.

And if they were why start them instead of Muamba & Chalobah. Or were they "sick" too.

If the owners have lost interest while just footing the bill for what I can’t imagine was a cheap dugout restoration then I don’t know what to tell you. NJ has been very open with about getting 2 more quality bodies through the door

I just don’t see any proof in the pudding about this claim about the owners

The end of this window at the start of September will give you and everyone else an answer to that question

Then we will all know where we stand with the squad that we have to witness until the new year

What do you mean a proper chance? He’s played well over a hundred games for us.
I mean in regards to people writing him off and calling for him to be sold etc. My point is I’m fully aware he hasn’t been great but I think he’s one of those that will flourish when he has more quality alongside him in midfield.
What is that based on though? He did a decent job in league 1, but I’ve seen nothing from him that suggests he’ll ever be good enough to be starting week in week out in the championship.

Maybe he could try being good by himself without needing someone else, he could just as easily make the other fella look bad.🤷🏻‍♂️

If there was a pitch deck doing the rounds it would have ended up on here like the Project Floyd one did for the other American consortium.

That is very scary as X has 19 million users in the UK, which means a third of the population are Nazis/ paedos. One in three.

Spend a few mins on there and you’ll see exactly what Rothko means.
  • Regarding the 380 bus from Blackheath to Charlton. Yes. Though I used to walk to matches when I lived in Blackheath. From Broadstairs, it's a bit of a hike.

It’s rubbish the owners have funded our signings why if there not interested .. they funding two more that going to cost serious money .. plus they are funding the women’s team plus still
investing in the ground and training ground sounds like a group who have lost interest .. they have spent far to much money in getting us where we are today from the structure of the club and still found good budgets to back NJ

Chalobah No better than we got, I wouldn’t take up places or budget on him to be honest. He is a decent player. But doesn’t massively improve us
He would instantly become our current best CM - not a difficult accolade at the moment
