    Click on looking for summer window rumours and have to scroll though so many posts that have nothing to do with it. 
    Obviously some enjoy the pile on about the worst player but can't it have it's own thread?

    Carrying this thread off subject is a yearly ritual especially this early on...its to be expected..Its a near certainty the next few pages will cover Eurovision,Katie Price and Andy Burnham s eyebrows ..tune in after the world cup for anything resembling a signing

    Remember that Reza goal well. I was at Elland Road & saw it go in via one of the TVs on the concourse. Was a few seconds after half time & I was still finishing up my pint!

    Massive result that eve as we looked like going down before that win. Ben Hamer saved a last min penalty too if I remember rightly…which stunned the whole stadium except for a small 300 or so midweek following from the addicks.

    IIRC..Didn't he have that crass moment when asked in an interview for his biggest regret in football and his answer was "signing for Charlton Athletic"...git 🙄

    Not sure if spelt right but in the Belgium farce we had a few. Thuram in goal, would have looked out of place over the park. Then an alleged French international , I think Laporte who could not control a ball. The great excitement of Xavi Alonsos brother who was so slow he was static.

    Leon Best would be my shout for worst ever signing - away at Blackburn December 2017 he had the worst game at centre forward I've ever seen

    Sure whenever I've seen him mention Charlton he's always spoken kindly about us. Think in Curbs' book he mentioned Barnes enjoying his time here and being a good pro with the other players, something along those lines anyway.

    I think many players are on holidays or still playing. I’m sure stuff is happening but I’m not expecting to hear much until early to mid June.

    As others have said, it’s still early but on top of that the rumours have hugely slowed down. They got less when GFP came in and then decreased even more when NJ was appointed. It’s actually impressive, even if it is annoying for us!
