I think Ramsay will be off. Not so sure about Campbell but he’ll be getting offers.North Lower Neil said:There's also Ramsay and Campbell to consider - both out of contract in 2027 aren't they?
So they either need to sign or we'll probably look to get a fee while we can.0 -
Dylan Markanday Chesterfield attacking midfielder. Caused us lots of problems in the matches versus Leyton Orient last season.
I'll leave that there and get my coat.0 -
TC is out of contract this summer but NJ has already said we’ll activate his optional extension.0

I think we have culture here where players like the club overall, sort of get that vibe from Harry Clarke (who I would like us to bring in) money is important of course but any Lyndons age, he might just want to play week in, week out and feel valued, which I don't think the Birmingham hierarchy gave him.NabySarr said:
I think he’d start a decent number of games for Millwall, and probably feature in nearly every game. Would you rather have him or Coburn up top?fenaddick said:
Feels like agent talk/lazy journalism. He's not a top end Championship striker which rules out Millwall and Leicester were interested in January and either couldn't get a deal done or he preferred to come here instead_MrDick said:According to the Daily Mail, Leicester and Millwall are lining up Lyndon Dykes in the summer. Personally, I’d be disappointed if we don’t sign him after the half season he’s had.
With Dykes I think it’s purely going to be down to how much he values playing week in week out vs his wallet. We probably won’t be the best financial offer he has this summer, but hopefully we can give him a good enough offer that he decides to join us and play week in week out rather than play less for a better team0 -
Ramsey won’t be going anywhere still
got a year left after this season .. unless we get silly money offered he will start next season at Charlton .. as for TC we need better that’s been glaring this season .. sell him or loan him
back to league one .. but we need players that can create chances ..4 -
How far do you think Scotland will go in the World Cup?North Lower Neil said:
The World Cup is an interesting factor too - if he goes, would you rather keep him, or have someone who's had the summer off and will be fresher?Scoham said:
I used to think that about players like Iwelumo years ago, but there’s a lot a decent experienced target man can add at this level besides goals.raytreacy said:Dykes to me is a journeyman. Works very hard for the team but will not score you many. I must say I am ambivalent whether he stays or goes.
He’s not as good as someone like Kermorgant was, but he’s made a difference in our form picking up. He’s allowed us to rotate Leaburn more and got a few goals and assists. We look better for it compared to a few months ago.
Is there better out there? Probably, but can we find that player and convince them to join us?
Might be a moot point if he isn't in the squad.2 -

Re the Bree debate
I'd rather sign Clarke instead of Bree, even if it does mean paying a fee for him. Better player all round - better defensively & better crosser of a ball.
Thats my contribution for now.4 -
Would you take both? I know it seems unlikely based on wages but we do realistically need two RWB’sgolfaddick said:Re the Bree debate

I also prefer Clarke, but then you don't only need 11 players - Bree and Clarke could compete at RWB and also Clarke/Ramsay potentially at RCB.golfaddick said:Re the Bree debate

On a more pragmatic note, it might just depend on Ipswich/Southampton - Ipswich can extend by a year and demand a fee even if they are willing to let him go, Southampton may well offer Bree an extension given he's now their first choice right-back. I think Ipswich may well extend but Clarke might still be more likely to be available.2 -
Would definitely sign Clarke and Dykes as good solid championship know-how. Would expect we're probably going to get a couple of surprises from abroad in the middle of midfield just to get better value.
LCB would be a priority for me , let's see if PC can find a younger version of Bell abroad.0 -
I stand by that, he is a donkey. The sort of striker you see in non league football. He hardly ever scores. Is he really what we need? We already have one donkey in Ahadme, do we want a pair?_uptheaddicks said:

He's scored twice for us which makes him our fifth highest scorer for the season and four all season which makes him the third highest scorer in our squad. Of course we need everyone to score more but I think it would be silly to throw out one of the players who does actually scoreraytreacy said:

We need to get rid of:-
Kaminski
Gillesphie
Burke
Mitchell A
Berry
Docherty
JRC
Taylor (although I rate him)
Knibbs
Ahadme
Apter
Olaofe
Godden
And lose all loans/out of contract apart from Clarke.
At least £8m fees there, doubt we could get £2m.
Bim Pepple an upgrade on Dyke (px for Mitchell but can't see any upgrades from lower leagues. Wiredu perhaps?

He's a "donkey" who has scored or assisted 5 goals in 11 games. That is exactly what we need. If there are players out there who would do much better than that, that we could afford and would actually come here instead of a more established side, I'd be very interested to know where to find them.raytreacy said:

contract expires June 2026
very experienced, Hammers Academy product, primarily LWB but can play FB, CM, and on the right as well. Rarely injured.
Would not improve the first-team but a very reliable and versatile back-up at a low cost.
An East Londoner, I reckon he would he happy to move back to London at an enhanced wage even if not starting.
Better than many we have played this season.0
