No one should be moaning, another goalless drab half is fine for us.

Think this one is crying out for JRC. We are actually trying to play it about a bit and some of it isn't bad, but just let down by a lack of quality every time.

Also surprised we haven't had more joy from the set plays. We have had enough first contacts and balls bouncing in the box, somehow never falling even for a shot
This is the one game where Luke Berry would be very useful, as his strength is sniffing out a goal from those goalmouth scrambles. Knibbs also.

Wrexham winning yesterday means we NEED three points to stay within touching distance for the Play-Offs

Oxford only watering the end they will be attacking at half time. Are they going to start shooting from range and hoping the ball will skim across the surface ?
Cheating bastards are going to flood our half of the pitch, and get the rowing team on!!
Sod the rowing team get the battleship on there to liven things up 😉

Agree. Would be delighted with a point from here. Good result for us.
  • Sky just said, and I’ll quote.. “because we’re contractually obliged we’ll show you some highlights” brutal
I mean they weren't wrong, the highlights were hilarious. Almost as funny as the commentator trying to explain why each one was a 'highlight'

I was out this morning. Very disappointingly, I made it home in time for kick off.

Darren Ambrose reckons we are there for the taking. Either I must be watching the wrong game or Ambrose is a tosser. I have a feeling its the second option.
  • One thought amongst all the doom and gloom.

When Ramsay, Jones & Bell are all on form I'm not sure there are many back 3s in this league better than those 3.

If the game continues like this I wouldn’t mind a 4231 with TC and Fev on the wings and Kelman up top

    60.8 possession for Charlton.
    Blimey O'Riley what ever next.

All three 12.30 KO are 0-0

There doesn't feel the jeopardy in this game for CAFC but I hope we can find the edge in or around the area as we have passed better until we get to the box.

Would like to see Kelman on with Leaburn at some stage but Campbell may be more dangerous if Oxford push more men forward as surely 3 points is more important for them than us.
We can take the point and be on 49 with 8 to go.

Take off Chambers- move TC back- and bring on Kelman IMO.
If you're going to move TC back, you may as well just sub him directly for Kelman, and keep Chambers on. TC doesn't work further back.

We launch it forward, but it's out for a goal kick.

What’s the Oxford game plan here? Are they playing for a draw? If not they’ll have to come out and attack more at some point which might create some space for us.
Playing to nick a goal from a counter attack or a set piece.

I never want to see TC play wing back again in my life.
I know what you mean but oxford look dreadful, wouldn't be against this move, bell could basically drift yo left back and give TC a licence to bomb forward on the left

Free kick against Doc for dragging his man down, about 15 yards out.

Ball into the box, headed half clear, and Leaburn goes out to the left to get it away.

Ball whipped in, Oxford have a break, Bell does well to get back and clear for a throw.
