The big drop off is after Bell, not after Jones. Those two have been titanicken_shabby said:Jones
Bell
Clarke/Ramsay
Ramsay has had a few poor games but also done some game changing challenges, while Clarke has stabilised our defence but also has a few moments to forget, although a lot of those were goal scoring opportunities. But frankly, after Jones, there's a big big drop off.3 -
Everyone’s top 3 is the same too. Let’s go top 5 to keep it interestingBostonaddick said:

1. Jones
2. Bell
3. Carey
4. Ramsay
5. Docherty0 -
Think its the easiest POTS of all time,
Jones
Carey
Bell
Struggling to think of a fourth place, Dykes if he continues til the end of the season in the same vein or Ramsey if he continues his recent form.0 -
Henry Irving said:Before you ask he's not on the list as the minimum requirement is to have played 10 games.
Shame, I have respected everything Connor Cody has done (since he joined up).6 -
Even then Ramsay looks a very straight forward 4th end of the day he’s still in the same back 3 with 50,000 clean sheets. If you base it on impact on the squad Dykes/Clarke feels a very easy 5th but considering they’ve only played 15 games you realistically have to give it to either Coventry/Docherty despite being incredibly average over the whole seaosjnNabySarr said:

I personally wouldn’t put Ramsay in the top 5. His good days are excellent but his bad days have been really bad and there have been quite a few of them0
-
1. Jones
2. jones
3. jones
4. Carey, Bell.
5. Lucky dip😂3 -
Jones
Carey
Bell
Bell's been good (but injured a fair bit) but without Carey's goals we'd really be in the shit. Carey has really stepped up given that I suspect he was originally bought in to be more of a squad player playing 2nd fiddle to Knibbs
The top 3 pick themselves though, a mention for Clarke though who's been outstanding since joining2 -
If its down to desire, effort, commitment then TC wins hands down, we couldn't have asked for more. Jones just pips him to it though.1

Jones
Bell

Really surprised with the number of mentions of Ramsay tbh! Lloyd clearly the standout with Sonny the runner up.1

Problem is when you look at the list of players who have least featured in half the number of games this season per 90. You have Jones Carey Bell who are the easy top 3 then you have…Bostonaddick said:I personally wouldn’t put Ramsay in the top 5. His good days are excellent but his bad days have been really bad and there have been quite a few of themKaminski who has 50/50 chance of dropping a good or bad performance.Leaburn who tbf has massively improved but he’s still a forward with 2G/A all year.
TC who has been far too inconsistent.Docherty who’s been in good form recently but was off it for 3 months.Coventry who was replaced fairly comfortably by Wrexhams 7th choice 32 year old CB.
Ramsay has dropped some absolute honkers this year like Millwall (x2), Southampton, QPR to name a few but considering he’s played 34 matches I think he’s been far more consistent than others and when he’s on it he’s absolutely on it and on his day is better than any player on their day mentioned above. Also featured in our 11 cleans sheets as well
And if anything I think it’s harder for him to look good when he’s playing in a 3 next to our 2 best players opposed to other areas of the pitch where we lack any sort of quality. His 1 assist this season technically wise was the best bit of creativity we’ve seen all year3 -
Here is my list -
1. Lloyd Jones (TOP CLASS PLAYER AT CHAMPIONSHIP WHO WILL LIKELY NOT BE HERE NEXT SEASON IMO)
2. All the players that have been sent off against us (WE HAVE PICKED UP WINS PURELY BECAUSE OF THIS AT TIMES)
3. Carey (EARLY FORM WAS INCREDIBLE AND A LARGE REASON WE HAVE THE POINTS WE DO)
4. Kaminski (UNDERAPPRECIATED BY MOST AND DERIDED BY THOSE WITH ZERO FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE, HAS KEPT US IN GAMES ALOT).
5. Bell (THOUGH HAS NOT PLAYED ENOUGH, ALWAYS 8 OUT OF 10 BUT NO GOOD IF INJURED ALOT)3 -
Jones, Bell, Carey, Ramsey - 3 of my and most others top 4 r defenders which is no surprise0
-
Kaminski has only played in 13% or 5 more games than Bell has this season by the way, Bell probably overtakes him by the time the season ends with Mannion looking to keep the No.1 spotRadostanradical said:Here is my list -

Kaminski is definitely over hated by fans I’d be shocked if you aren’t the only Charlton fan who thinks he’s been better than Bell this season0 -
Again. The thing about Kaminski is that he’s not a big change / step up on Mannion. Those who believe they know fees paid / salary earnt say he was a large part of our transfer budget. On that basis he isn’t great value.2
-
So he has played in significantly more games than Bell and I sincerely doubt Bell will play every game rest of this season. Also as for other fans not agreeing with me, everyone thought the world was flat at one point.Crispywood said:

Jones
Carey
Dykes or Bell - can't decide.0 -
Wouldn’t say 5 games is significantly more. Bell may not play every game but there’s also a good possibility Kaminski doesn’t even make another appearance, with the way Mannion is going.Radostanradical said:

KAMINSKI HAS BEEN SOLID ALL YEAR, A REAL PRESENCE, AND I’VE SAID IT FROM THE START. SOME PEOPLE DIDN’T RATE HIM — I DID. THEN HE GETS ONE INJURY, MANNION COMES IN FOR A COUPLE OF GAMES, AND SUDDENLY THEY’RE ACTING LIKE KAMINSKI NEVER EXISTED. TOTALLY CRAZY!PLAYER OF THE YEAR IS ABOUT CONSISTENCY AND AVAILABILITY — NOT “LOOKED GOOD UNTIL HE GOT INJURED AGAIN.” BELL IS TALENTED, BUT YOU CAN’T WIN ANYTHING FROM THE SIDELINES. VERY SIMPLE, VERY TRUE!

He’s been on the pitch 75% of the time this year, so he’s not been injured half the year.Radostanradical said:

In which case sorry Jones you know your POTY you won last year well Coventry played 5 more league 1 games than you sorry we have to give it to him.0 -

Is your thing to run all your posts through some sort of Trumpification engine? Really awesome and funny trick if so6

All of that just because I said a player who has had a quality 3/4 of a season shouldn't be discounted due to playing 5 games less than a player who has been decent but not brilliant, respect the commitment 😂Radostanradical said:
LOOK, CRISPYWOOD, YOU KEEP THROWING OUT THESE NUMBERS LIKE THEY’RE SOME KIND OF “CHECKMATE,” BUT THEY JUST PROVE MY POINT EVEN MORE. YES, JONES PLAYED 36 GAMES LAST SEASON — BUT HERE’S THE PART YOU’RE LEAVING OUT: HE WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC IN THOSE 36 GAMES. DOMINANT. CONSISTENT. A REAL LEADER. THAT’S WHY HE WON PLAYER OF THE YEAR. EVERYBODY SAW IT!Crispywood said:

If Kaminski wasn't tarred with the brush about his wages, he'd feature in more top 3s.
He's been the keeper for 90% of our season and we've let in far fewer goals than those around us, keeping loads of clean sheets too. That's a combination of the defence and keeper but he's played a vital part in it1 -
So @Radostanradical you effectively saying Nathan Jones has got it wrong by playing Mannion last couple of games when Kaminski was back fit?SoundAsa£ said:
