People who don’t like sport
How the hell do they fill their time?
This Bh Weekend I went to 3 football games, I run, I played golf twice, I watched about 6 games on the telly, as well as two boxing shows and two golf tournaments.
Non sport people’s lives must be so, bland. What do they get instant high or low about like you do with sport? Even watching the W Ham v Leeds game I was jumping off the sofa and I don’t even like either of them!

Music, art, books, food, family, world affairs, travel, learning Italian, ancestry, history.
And football and, now the summer is here, baseball.2 -
Working. Cause it’s a bank holiday weekend not all people have 4 days off1

Must admit, that's me... I don't really like watching sport at all.... I have this mad addiction which keeps me at The Valley (and on here), but other than CAFC, I am just not interested (that will extend to the World Cup this summer etc....really just don't 'get' international matches at all). Loved playing football, loved running and cycling when younger....but two new hips means that I can only cycle now.. So, this weekend, I did go for a bike ride around the North Yorkshire Moors...(which nearly bloody killed me)...otherwise, I did a lot of dog walking, eating, drinking and resting...and it was great!9

Photography and HikingFind myself watching less Football these days, unless its Charlton / England related - Other than that I'll watch the Tour de France (Dont bother with Wimbledon or Golf anymore), but I do watch an incredible amount of Motor Racing.0

I don’t trust people who don’t like sport, even more so if they don’t like football.

music is more popular than sport across the globe. In fact, i have just broken down the Charlton fanbase by a range of interests and passions.....
So anyway - this is basically the answer to the thread:

The manager’s not going to be happy = someone got pumped 5-0
There’s not many there = poor crowd
Is the commentator going to apologise = Fans/players swearing
All this while I sit there thinking………
“Do you not have something else to do or somewhere to be”
I inadvertently said something out loud last week……. To which I’m still serving a suspended sentence! It went “For fecks sake it’s like having two commentaries “
No sooner it came out of my mouth I felt like punching myself in the face, at least the pain and suffering would be gone by now!14 -
Anyone who prefers motorsport to football is usually a bit of a knob16

Ditto rugby6

Then you got those Wallys that come out with - "My favourite sport is not liking sport"1

Do you think there's any kind of correlation here? I feel like the quality of one has seriously impacted the other.Gribbo said:I absolutely hate watching sport of any kind - Just like my fishing, shooting and watching Charlton Athletic3 -
Queue up at B&Q or other shops of choice, queue up in motorway / main trunk road roadworks in an attempt to reach the coast. If they eventually get to the coast queue up or drive around trying to find somewhere not exorbitantly priced to park.0

My wife who is the least sport liking person in the world but pretends to feign interest just to stop me leaving her after 45 years.
Hence her one visit to the Valley each season and saying
"go on kick it".....
And "what colour are we".......

Had a mate who's sister would not go out with any bloke who didn't like sport, mainly football. Assumed that there was something not quite right about them! Not my wife!0
