Not condoning it by the way, but the way he celebrated his goal at their place, left himself an open target...🤷♂️AddicksAddict said:Do not want:

Booing of Small.Do want:
Loud cheers for Small as he puts the ball in his own net.0 -
Which you can guarantee us missing, spectacularly.eastterrace6168 said:

I’m sure I’ve posted this before but I used to work with a Burnley fan who used to spit venom against the team he always referred to as “Preston Fucking Knob End!”0

Hopefully 2 teams on the beach should play out an exciting match. Maybe not. One more win should finish it off for us but Preston are improving of late. Another draw, 1-1, we creep to safety.

Things we need to change from last Friday:
Kelman shouldn’t start as barely got involved apart from getting the assist.
Coventry & Docherty can’t play alongside each other again.
We need some pace/trickery on the pitch from either Campbell, Fullah or Fevrier.

Just want us to go for it - right from the start. An attacking line-up - no six at the back stuff.2

1-1 Godden0

3 pts tomorrow would be fantastic of course, as is every win for the Addicks.
But it would be a special one indeed on the occasion of another PSA testing day as organised once again by "OUR" Tracy.
The Fanackapans know only too well that early detection of prostate cancer is a game changer & in the name of her late beloved Dad, Tracy & her team have enabled many of our male supporters to put their minds at rest for a further 12 months or to be made aware of the need for further investigation.
Indeed, lives may well have been saved since this brilliant initiative was launched. Long may it continue.
Please keep an eye out for the bucket collections around the Ground as further donations are needed to reach the target required. " Our " Ben's Dad, Garry Jay will one of the collectors so if you see him, please say hello ( as you throw that loose change into his receptacle !)
Onwards & upwards tomorrow for both of our teams at The Valley !

There will be a decent turnout from them for their Gentry Day, so at least there’ll be something to look at and hopefully a bit of atmosphere. I reckon we’ll draw this and the next game and just about stay up.0

Charlton 1 - 0 Preston
And we are safe!

for me an importtant day Ive been going to the valley since 1953 when it was 9 pence fora boy to get in. its my 78th birthday today and I cant think there will be too many more opportunities to see the addicks on my birthday . So a win would be a birthday present to top all others. Best wishes to all charlton fans wherever you may be , Doesnt wembley seem an eternity ago ?28

1-1. Preston score first and we equalise in the second half.
Will be a dreadful game.0 -
Looking at other teams up coming fixtures and if you were a Pompey fan you would be concerned especially with their home form .. Blackburn are another that could fall back into the mix with their fixture list , Oxford have on paper slightly better run in althrough they do have Millwall away last game ..0

Injuries have a habit of doing that.RonnieMoore said:Kaminsky injury will most likey keep him out again although he did train yesterday .. other then that pretty much the same but would be great to see Kelman and Godden up top together … either way Campbell can’t start again
2-1 win for the reds
And it's Kaminski.1 -
Interesting how few comments there are on here. Not exactly football fever.0

Would be nice to win so we can enjoy watching the relegation battle unfold in the coming weeks2
-
Would like to see a change up top .. with Godden and Kelman starting , perhaps Knibbs for Coady who not available , Doc holding and Carey and Knibbs attacking mid let’s give them
something to worry about

Is today the day we finally secure safety ? I think so. 2-1 and 3 points and we can start to try and formulate a playing style for next season where we can evolve into a team with a bit of entertainment0

Entertainment and winning is ideal.
Entertainment and losing is not.
Winning games, however that happens, is the only thing that matters.0 -
Think we did that with the Bham, Borough and Oxford games.AndyG said:Is today the day we finally secure safety ? I think so. 2-1 and 3 points and we can start to try and formulate a playing style for next season where we can evolve into a team with a bit of entertainment0 -

Would quite happily take a bore draw in every game left to get us over the line and another year in the champ.
However we should be going out to get the 3 points against the likes of PNE. Will be a 1-1 draw though. Dykes with the goal.0
