This game has just become far bigger than it should have been.
Anyone that can get there, should.6 -
Gutted I’m away for this one. Huge game0

Looking forward to the day, assume it’ll be ruined by the football! On the 9:47 from KX, changing at Donny to get into Sheffield at 12:09.1
-
The club should be subsidizing coach travel and ticket costs on this one, we could call it Operation Hillsborough13
-
On the 09:18 out of King’s Cross, my 8th away of the season 6 defeats & 1 draw, what could possibly go wrong hey .5
-
This is almost as big as the play off final.5

On the 8:40 from King's Cross, due in via Donny at 11:20. A cleansing ale in the Sheffield Tap and then on to The Fat Cat.
This game has assumed huge importance and will be far from the relaxing afternoon I had hoped it would a fortnight ago. For those of a nervous disposition, the fact that Wednesday have just created a new football league record by going 37 games without a win only adds to the sense of foreboding. Can they really go a whole season without winning a home game ? I suspect the answer to that is yes, but if they do upset the odds, let's hope it's against West Brom on the last day.1 -
A subsidy for the children too. It just need a catchy slogan to go along with it.Walkingred said:The club should be subsidizing coach travel and ticket costs on this one, we could call it Operation Hillsborough1 -
15 minute walk down the hill for me.
it shouldnt be but a draw will be a great result for us, Wednesday will be well up for it.

I'm sorry, but a draw great? We have to win, anything less would be unacceptable. They might be one of, if not the worst sides in Championship history, even Yeovil Town managed 37 points.sheffaddick said:15 minute walk down the hill for me.

If Oxford lose against Derby, and we beat these, it's very likely we are safe with Oxford needing to win 3/3. If we draw and Oxford win or even if they don't, there would still be work to do with much harder fixtures.
Probably our most must win game of the season so far, and we've already had a few of those.5 -

I would snap your hands off at a draw! A loss would be unacceptable. They have just drawn away at Cov. Why would a draw be unacceptable mate?Braziliance said:

I have to agree that even a draw is unacceptable here. If we are serious about staying up we have to go there, play properly and win. Anything else puts us in a very perilous position0
-
3 of us going.
I hope we are up for this for the whole 90 mins....feel the Wendys will be, especially after a draw at Coventry last time out. They will want to break their run of 37 games without a win and finish the season with a positive points score.2 -
me + 8 others. Staying for a weekend in Sheffield!2

I apologise in advance but this fixture has a ball shrivelling and arse clenching air about it.
Up the Addicks and my admiration for you travellers.4 -

Thankfully only one of those afflictions will be an issue for Fanny !

10:40(ish?) from King's X. Myself and a non-Lifer who is, however, a Charlton fan for life. His late dad was, he said, at the 7-6, so it's in his blood.2

Snap hands off for a draw is insanity at this stage imo.cafc_se7 said:

We are in dreadful form, lost 4 of our last 5 at home, next two home games are two teams in the top 6. Last away game isn't easy.
Sheffield Wednesday is by far and away our easiest game and it's not even close. We probably need 3 points to get it done, 4 will almost guarantee us safety.
Oxford United have won 4 of their last 8 and only lost once. The teams below are showing far more signs of life. We are in relegation form.
I genuinely think we are down with Leicester and Wednesday if we fail to win, as I don't see the points elsewhere. We look pathetic at home.2 -
Maybe it would seem that way if you only look at points and results. But look deeper at their recent performances and they are not the team the league table would suggest. Align that to our piss poor form and performance and it's far from a bankerBraziliance said:

I thought we were down after Blackburn away which was a must win game?0
