Spot on. Indeed, it truly is. COYA!!!!!!!!DamoNorthStand said:I honestly never thought we would get there in the weeks after the Boro game. Sod’s Law that when we did do it I was ill all day.
Managed to catch up with the highlights - absolutely belting goal from Kelman, and I really do think there is a proper player there. Put him in the Southampton side and there’s 15-20 goals at this level.
Fevrier has got all the hallmarks of a great loanee …. Effort above and beyond what you would expect and improved over time. I would keep him as a good alternative to Edwards and whoever our RWB is next season.
plenty of time to unpack what’s happened since Boro but leaving Wembley last May, I remember thinking we were a million miles away from staying up.It’s a brilliant achievement.1 -

Perhaps we could re-enact and film Kelman's and Fevrier's splendid goals with enhancements during the close season? Kelman could shoot from ten yards further out, and Fevrier could beat an additional two defenders first.
I remember Collective Objestives. They were the Co-op's own brand of digestive biscuits.7 -
Get in! COYR
Mix of joy and relief.
Enjoyed The Valley in the sun
And the football was decent again
Great atmosphere
Trained it down from Norwich with my 4.5 year old... he's too young really... but... wanted him to experience the whole package of Charlton at this age before we head off to sunnier shores later this year...
I have hope the buzz in there today, and at the end, will stay with him19 -

It was defo him - classy and he got a decent reception14

The Hull manager was suspended, so Holden was in charge in the dugout today. Quite nice timing for him, and while he would have wanted the win, I'm sure he's delighted we stayed up.9

One of life’s good guys. Him & his wife had one of the biggest tragedies anyone could face but he’s still so full of life. Wish him nothing but the bestElthamaddick said:It was defo him - classy and he got a decent reception46 -

PWR.
Delighted we’ve done it and what a goal from Kelman. This match, even ignoring the goal, is the best I’ve seen from him.
Well done you Reds on survival!!!!!!!7 -
So the R is a negative number, I assume1

Fev was knackered, I don’t know how he managed to run that far. I think any pass would have been cut out by the defender, just like the shot.Raith_C_Chattonell said:
I think he may have strayed off side earlier in the move, but I don't really know the off side law so forget I said that.eastterrace6168 said:I bet TC was spitting blood when Fev didn't release him for a clear third in the last minute...🤦♂️

I always get him mixed with with Ant too !3 -
Well done all. Likely see you at WHL next season!14

Not to disparage Fev, but how anyone can vote other than Docherty is beyond me. He’s been the best player by far over the last few games.oohaahmortimer said:Fevrier man of the match in the lounge3 -
I have no idea how autocorrect got from Fev to Ant. Typing this message it didn’t do anything. Prime example of why you should never trust AI.Fanny Fanackapan said:

Just watched the highlights and for me that was absolutely pathetic from Kaminski for their goal. Yes there was a slight tug on his shirt but not enough for him to flap as he did and go to ground like that. I’m not even sure that would have been overturned by VAR.9
-
NJ has been crucified by you lot over the past few weeks but personally think he’s done a great job in keeping us up and should get a lot of credit for that.
Perhaps our electric start to the season lulled us into falsely thinking we would comfortably stay up but Charlton never do it the easy way, do they?
Three cheers for NJ, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray!30 -
Well done, matey. Somebody has actually seen the analogy!jonno said:I've sorted out the correct flag

Now that’s over, is Wricurkinham going to disappear back to wherever he came from this season? Please.11

We got done, but our home form over the last two months has been shocking and is a real concern for next season.
Nine home wins is just about OK, but TEN home defeats is not good enough, we should have not lost more than seven home games, all up.
Or away form was OK, four wins is not great, but we only lost eight games away from The Valley.
Bottom line is that we need to get a lot better on the ball, especially at home, we can't keep allowing our opponents to have 70% possession and relying on us keeping clean sheets, that's not sustainable.
Our front players have got a lot of stick this season, but I think much of that has been misplaced.
Our front players are often heavily isolated, outnumbered by defenders, and our preference to keep men behind the ball means that we just don't get the numbers forward in the final third to create chances.
I am sure Nathan Jones knows all of this far better than any of us, but any transition will be fraught as there will always be a temptation to go back to what has worked to keep us up this season.5 -
Surely the heads should be the other way around?ForeverAddickted said:Beautiful behind the scenes footage from the Battleship as it sails back along the Thames, off on another journey
