Millwall Football Club can confirm that all available, unreserved season ticket seats for the 2026/27 campaign have now been sold at this point. Existing season ticket holders still have until Tuesday 5th May to renew their seat, following an extraordinary response from supporters - with a record-breaking 12,000+ season tickets already sold.

    https://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/2026/april/30/2026-27-season-ticket-update/
Over 12,000 sold and over 1,500 yet to renew = over 13,500 STs being made available. Say 2,000 away fans leaves less than 4,500 tickets for match by match sales, less if there are areas they can’t sell because of segregation issues. They are going to need a smaller bandwagon.
We’re segregating the North Stand (away end) from next season so the away allocation will be much smaller and tickets will be available in that stand for home fans.
How on earth are you going from not selling the side/front seats of the lower tier to away fans, to suddenly putting home and away fans in the same stand?
I know you’re going to struggle to believe this but the crowd has changed a lot down there these days. The whole place is full of families and youngsters. The fan zone is excellent. The whole match day experience is good. It’s a proper family day out these days. Blokes bring their kids and missus. There’s grandads there with 3 or 4 grandkids in tow. You always got a few families dotted about but now it seems it’s a big percentage of the crowd.
Didn't you also tell us that your away support never cause any trouble before the game in September?
Yes fair enough, I got the prediction wrong there and I held my hands up at the time. Well what I actually said was I hadn’t seen any trouble at any of the away games I had been to and I hadn’t at the time.

But I’ve been to nearly every away game this season and there’s plenty of occasions when we share a stand with the home fans and there’s not been any trouble so I don’t think it’ll be a problem if we do it at the Den. As long as it’s done properly.

There will always be the potential for a bit of disorder at a local derby though and maybe I was being a bit naive prior to the game at your place. It’s the same up and down the country and all over the world.

I saw no issues at all at the Charlton game at The Den - fans were mixing before and after the game (helped that you tonked us of course) and it was all friendly banter. I accept that Millwall are not the club they were in the 70s/80s - still a bunch of spanners in a rusty toolbox of course.
You are currently light years ahead of us and I think that's about ownership more than anything. You've had great owners for the last 20 years and it looks like Berylson Junior is following in his father's footsteps. We've been totally mismanaged over the same period.
I've got a feeling that the gap will close over the next few years though - I know, it's the hope that kills.
Let's not get too carried away here. They've had a good season but they're ultimately still a side in the same division who get smaller crowds. I also think they'll be hard pushed to replicate this season what with the 3 sides coming down all likely to be very strong. On the flip side of that, we will be looking to strengthen and improve so I don't think we'll be 30 points behind them next year.

Things can easily change. Sheff Utd finished 40 points ahead of Derby last season, but this season Derby will finish above them. I'd say that Palace are light years ahead of us, Millwall are not.

Important note: if Millwall get promoted, please ignore the above.

Just the one good season? We’ve finished top half of the championship in 7 consecutive seasons now.

Smaller crowds? ACTUAL crowds are probably on par. (Your own attendance expert on here Airman says your 20k attendances are ‘fantasy’. His words). Looks like our season ticket sales will be much higher than yours for next season as well. Yes it helps that we’ve had a very good season but you’ve just had your best season in what… ten years?

And yes you will be looking to strengthen and improve this pre season. But you’ve got Nathan Jones doing your strengthening and improving so not sure there will be any actual strengthening or improving going on 😁

also, owning our own ground and training ground is a big plus that puts us ahead of you somewhat. The 999 year long lease getting confirmed this year means developments will be pushed ahead with. Things are definitely on the up in the blue corner of south London.

Yes, ‘light years’ is probably stronging it a bit. But things are definitely changing in the south east London footballing landscape. Luckily for you Bromley are now in the league which will stop you lot being the smallest league club in south east London 😉😁

I thought you as a club don't care about crowds as a measure of success as you have constantly told us on here in the past and have a go at us for supposedly going on about it. Troll.
I didn’t start the conversation about it on here. I just responded. You’re own Bob Munro said Millwall are light years ahead of Charlton which I didn’t actually agree with. Is he trolling?

And I never said I don’t care about crowds as a measure of success. That’s putting words in my mouth. I said I don’t care if people view us as a small club. And I still don’t.

But yes it does amuse me that the likes of Douchy and certain other posters go on endlessly about how much of a bigger club Charlton are than us when that isn’t really the case. May have been in the past but not anymore and not for the foreseeable future. It’s not trolling. It’s just a talking point.

The last comment I made was a bit of a dig but only harmless banter. There’s no malice in what I said. I was just having a laugh.

Airman's 'fantasy' comment was in regards to the possibility of averaging 20k again next season not this current season, and that you've quoted that word tells me you read that thread and know this already and looking for bites - although it's fair to say it's debatable if 20k was actually reached. He's also said that the number of comps issued is a lot less than it used to be.

Charlton 20k average this season and Millwall 17k average. Even when you take out comps I would probably say the difference is 1.5k - 2k difference absolute minimum being generous. Or we could take them at face value and say the difference is 3k. Whichever way you look at it, they're close but not par.

Generally I don't see him gloating, perhaps bar a very occasional slip, but none of us are perfect.

I also don't find him fabricating nonsense and I tend to agree with the vast majority of his well observed comments, which are generally correct.

He names you in his posts because you constantly troll him and the vast majority of the time what he says is correct.

He adds positively to this forum and always has done.

Well, your entitled to your opinion i suppose, however incorrect it is. I noticed you are also the poster who lumped in millwall into the predictions for the season thread - says it all  - you and a small number of others want to talk about millwall on a charlton forum - there are general league / division forums for that or some forums have an away team section. Millwall have done very well over the last decade or so, but its not what i want to talk about and the constant Millwall PR job that he does on here may be something you lap up, its not something i do. Football rivalries? childish? maybe? but they exist and the likes of you with your tongue up his arse when a charlton fan on their forum wouldn't be given the light of day is is embarrassing. You crack on i guess, its not my forum but wouldn't be happening if it was.  I'm sure if a poll was done on here asking for more millwall content, it wouldn't fair too well.

As Fen says you talk about Millwall more than any Charlton poster and you’re quite right we don’t want it constantly.

So if you stop trolling Millwall Fan we all win.

Especially you, as you make yourself look foolish most of the time.

Unless it’s the ‘wot no’ thread, which is a dedicated Millwall thread, or the championship thread, which is about championship clubs in general, I will only ever mention Millwall if we get mentioned first, as a response.

I never randomly bring up Millwall apart from occasionally on the threads mentioned above. And I agree with whats been mentioned here, Douchy brings us up more than anyone on here, I would say. And bet your life if we were doing poorly, and any of his numerous predictions came even close to being correct , then he would be bringing us up even more.

U jump on lots of posts where millwall aren't mentioned - and my predictions have largely been correct - as i advised u about a week ago - we stay up, you stay down (done better than expected admittedly but u won't go up) and you've won nothing again for the 142nd year is it? and your achievements are more on a par with bromley than us and dare in say it, palace, when it comes to south london teams. Where is the incorrect opinion or fact about that? U then try baiting me with douchy (that really hurts) and when most recently i point out that you are making up things about our crowds / allocation of freebies - again , you get all silly with the douchy stuff. I tried to help you with your problems re our crowds by pointing out that you would need to add roughly 50% to your grounds capacity to match ours and again, you get all stroppy and start hair splitting again. Your snide, gloaty demeanor doesn't impress me and if your fans on here don't like it, that's not my problem. All i request is that you disappear or at least keep your millwall bilge and opinions on us to a minimum. Deal?

If you think CL posters agree with your opinion and want YOU to keep talking about Millwall, then count up ALL of your likes on this thread. You'll only need one hand.

Apologies to everyone for straying, let's return to talk about attendances.

Right, yeah, i'll do that, that makes a lot of sense and will give a definitive answer to whatever your question / survey is trying to show -  if i need ant more of your opinions i'll let you know - i'd suggest you should ignore my posts if you don't like them, i'm happy to do the same with yours.

Find one. Just one. Actually, don’t bother. You’re getting really boring now and you’ve resorted to just making shit up as you go along. I’ve noticed it recently. You’ll get proven wrong yet again on something or another but you’ll just say that didn’t happen or I didn’t say that. So strange.

As for your predictions, so far you’ve got one correct, that Charlton will stay up. I also made that prediction. You’ve recently made another bold one, after initially saying we would drop out of the top 6 you’re now saying that we will stay down. Seeing as there is one in four chance of us going up that’ll probably be correct as well but it’s hardly Nostradamus is it?? I listed all the stuff you’ve got horribly wrong on a previous thread the other day but you act like that never happened.

Anyway, not engaging with you anymore as I think most people on here are getting bored of it, including me. Good day.

But he doesn't usually, unless it's responding to you perhaps! When Millwall play well he may make a comment, when they play badly he will be the first to admit it. MF also makes positive contributions to many threads on here - and you may or may not have noticed that there are indeed many non-Charlton, non-Millwall, indeed non-football threads on CL - seriously funny threads (where you literally laugh out loud at some posters), serious threads that bring the best out of the CL family to support eachother - and so on. It's what makes CL a very broad church and infinitely better for it. I would suggest that 99% of people on Charlton Life would not want to only see Charlton related threads.

MF also invariably makes sense, as did BBW and it's a real shame he doesn't post any more because he and MF are clearly very decent guys.

Top half in 7 consecutive seasons you say? Well just two seasons ago you finished 13th, closer in points to the relegation zone than the play offs.

Yes you had a good season, you've just had your best finish for 35 years.

Smaller crowds? Yes that's correct. Check any site you like and you will see.

Yes we have just had our best season for 11 years. We've basically been utter shit for at least a decade..........and yet we're in the same division as you.

For sure owning your own ground and training ground is a massive plus. But us not owning ours isn't exactly holding us back is it? We'd only need to increase our capacity if we got promoted and consolidated in the PL. So i won't hold my breath on that one.

So overall i think we're in agreement that the 'light years ahead' comment was a wild exaggeration. No one (except Doucher) will dispute that you're currently the better team but for as long as we're in the same division you will never be light years ahead.

In 2/3 weeks time we could be on the same points as Millwall in 26/27 in the same league

They will be getting 18000 week in and week out in either the Prem or The Championship and we will probably be on a par, maybe better if we sign decent players and a few more season tickets get sold

We are unfortunately light years from Palace at the moment but Millwall 😂

1000 page thread on spanners online about us that started during Covid if anyone wants a few days to catch up…. 🥱

Yes maybe light years was a bit strong - but make no mistake it is significant at this moment in time - we've survived with one game to go, and they had a chance of outright promotion on the last day of the season, and can still go up. Also, they as good as own their ground with a 999 year lease.

We can close the gap of course, but there's a hell of a lot of work to do.
