It will be hard for two teams to motivate themselves for this one, Swansea, being the home side, will have slightly more to play for being the home side. For Charlton, the season has finished and the aim of remaining in the Championship has been achieved. What will the line up be? Who cares, if Swansea get an early goal then it will become a hard watch, roll on the retained list, the transfer window and much gnashing of teeth from lifers as we let go of the forgotten and try to bring in new stars, that's when the fun starts, as for tomorrow, yawwwnnn.

Good luck to the team tomorrow, if Lloyd Jones plays 🤞he comes away in one piece.
I think with our away support the team will put on a performance. Also hope Kelman gets on the score sheet so he can end on a positive from the wonder goal last weekend!

    Coya!!!

End of a long tough but successful season. Think with injuries we will be on the beach more than they will be. Tricky game and with their top scorer we may struggle to match them. 2-0 to Swansea.

The season has already ended for us. Our priorities is now keeping (or getting) our players fit for a complete pre-season, something from which we have not benefitted for years. So no way Jones, Godden or Bell should be playing.

A minor aim could be a last look at some players about whom management may not have made up their mind, whether or not to keep.  A last chance to impress?

I think blooding youngsters would be better done in pre-season friendlies (unless they fall into the previously mentioned category).

Think we will nick this 2-1 and finish higher than we all thought we would after all. Box midfield again having worked well last weekend.

Last Saturday feels like a lifetime ago. God knows what state we'd be in if were still in danger.

Hopefully they'll go out with a win, great to stay but obviously but recent form has been poor amd there's always a worry ot could feed into next season l. To go out with back to back wins would be excellent

To be honest - I really couldn't care less!

    Mission for the season achieved.

I hope we steam roller them but our minds are firmly on recruitment and building out the next iteration that hopeful brings us more stability next season.

    Swansea 2 - 3 Charlton

    Kelman x2
    Campbell

6:30am to go to a dead rubber, ridiculous the things we do for this club!

Hope we pick the strongest side possible and end the season on a high.

Would be a big win for Jonesy seeing as he's Cardiff, so reckon he'll go all out to win this, especially with it being last game, so I'm going for 1/nil Charlton after first 45, and a 2/1 Swansea win after 90....

There's only 1 game that matters today and that's at Portman Road - get the job done Ipswich.

I suppose the only peril is if we get a sending off and the player then misses the start of next season.
I think that might have happened to us before, Dean Kiley?

Looks like a comfortable home win for mid-table Swansea at the Liberty Stadium (Swansea.com Stadium) against a battered and bruised Charlton side who in the 45th game finally achieved the status of being a championship team for a 2nd season in the 2nd tier.

That is an achievement but it has to be just the 3rd step after staying up in League 1- promotion from League 1- staying up in Championship. The 4th step would be 60+ points and more quality in transition or on the counter attack for our seniors !

Swansea have lost 18 games this campaign(so far) which is the same as CAFC but 17 wins against our 13 means the Swans are in the comfort zone of 11th on 61 points against the 19th of the Sarf Londoner's.

It feels like a 3-0 if Ramsey, Jones and Bell all don't play as their bodies are damaged after they were so overworked this season.

I'm not keen on 'friendlies' so personally hope we play with less nerves and continue to find Kelman in the channels and Carey and Knibbs as Sharp shooting number 10's if Dykes and Leaburn start on the bench.
I heard that the coach has packed Flipflops, beach balls and they are going to be on a Gower Beach by 3.30 on Saturday afternoon.

If Charlton could get 16 wins 15 losses and 15 draws in the 26/27 Season with say 55 GF and 55 GA we would collect 63 points and be 11 or 12th and that would be the club continuing to go forward.

I don't expect wonder goals like Kelman and Fevrier too often but we need to be more successful in our attacks as only Blackburn and Sheff wed scored less goals and the Lancashire team can overtake us today if they score a couple* against the doomed foxes.

    *If we are goalless today.

Want to see a performance definitely. Still find it hard to forgive curbishley for that limp end of season run in after winning the championship with a lame 1-1 at Blackburn then a roll over to help west Brom stay up last game. Less at stake here obviously but as professionals they as a collective should still give of their best and be capable of giving Swansea a game.
The next season seasons made if very easy to forgive curbishley
