Moylan to Cardiff is absolutely bizarre. Their main creative force and they're selling them to a side they'll be competing with.4

They’re a funny one as they were competing with Rangers for a midfield player that was nearly £8 mill. Not heard a lot about the business they’ve done tbhMarcusH26 said:Moylan to Cardiff is absolutely bizarre. Their main creative force and they're selling them to a side they'll be competing with.0 -
Think they've only signed Nathan Trott from Copenhagen who they had on loan last season anyway but clearly have funds to splash.mart77 said:

A typical Wrexham signing, seeing that Whiteman is 30 now. I'm not sure any other club in the EFL signs for fees so many players of 30 and over.MarcusH26 said:Interesting one to keep an eye on - looks like Ben Whiteman is going to Wrexham from PNE. Would limit Dobsons minutes for sure.0 -

If a player wants away, there is no point in keeping him. Cardiff are are a much bigger club than Lincoln and probably pay a lot more0 -
Watford have signed Jordan Zamura on loan from Udinese
Nothing overly surprising there, other than he came through our Academy.0 -
A very good player. I never understood why we let him go. Soon turned up at Bournemouth. Madness. Ajayi was a similar occurrence. I guess, you win some, you lose some.ForeverAddickted said:Watford have signed Jordan Zamura on loan from Udinese

No we only offered him a 6 month contract. Who'd sign that if others are prepared to give you a 2 year one?Crispywood said:

Yeah that’s how I remember it, Ajayi left in the summer before Roland bought the club, we had no money and signed Church on a free, Sordell on loan etc.bolloxbolder said:

Ajayi then had a trial with Arsenal, which wouldn’t have happened if he was poached.
Zemura was another strange one, I saw him in a streamed game and thought he stood out for his pace and the way he got forward. Would be interesting to have known more behind why we released him.
We tend to do the opposite now and give u21s as long as we can before releasing them, which means some stick around when we’re likely pretty certain they won’t make it. The good thing is it means we’re unlikely to let many go too early, so it’s worth the gamble.3 -

Middlesbrough signing Radek Vitek for a deal that could end up being worth £14m. Think Man Utd wanted more, he was very good at Bristol City last year. A very good signing imo3

The amount of spending at Boro they'd be disappointed if they didn't get promoted even with Wolves and West Ham probably being faves for autosfenaddick said:Middlesbrough signing Radek Vitek for a deal that could end up being worth £14m. Going to be the strongest second tier in decades in my opinion.MarcusH26 said:

Easily. The extended playoffs system has seemingly made sides that maybe would be around that 10-14th range push the boat out to try and get into the playoffs. Bristol City have seemingly found where the chequebook isMillwallFan said:

BBC says that Wrexham are poised to sign Preston midfielder Ben Whiteman .. could be why Dobson is going ? (or has he gone ?)1

I think you can personally split it 2/3 of the league look ridiculously strong and then 1/3 of the league looks a bit crap unfortunately we’re in the latterMillwallFan said:

Looked really good last year, impressive signing IMHO.fenaddick said:Middlesbrough signing Radek Vitek for a deal that could end up being worth £14m. Think Man Utd wanted more, he was very good at Bristol City last year. A very good signing imo
Apparently United have a buy back option, would be interesting to see how much that is.0 -
I think the bottom third look fairly equally crap though which might keep it tightCrispywood said:
