To be fair he's not wrong...
Given the position of West Ham, he doesnt see one team better than West Ham, he sees 16 clubs better than them ;)

Last time the spanners were top and we were second, we were both relegated.

Burnley losing 3-1 at West Brom.

    Burnley have looked pretty poor.

    Yeah Burnley look very average.

There are some decent teams in the top half and the relegated teams are gonna have a real battle to bounce back.

Molumby gone off with what looks like a bad knock….

Big player for them who by the looks could be out for our game against them

He's taken us as far as he can.

It's going to be a brutal league this season, so many strong teams and teams who've spent a lot of money.

Got to laugh at Stoke though, spend over 30m this summer and lost 2 out of 2. Robins will be gone by the international break if they don't get some points soon.

getting points on the board early for us, is going to be key.

i'm still very much stay up and finish better than last season. 2 wins on the board already is a great start.

Lincoln/Preston/Stoke all looking primed for relegation currently.

West Ham/Burnley etc i think will click and then go on runs.

west hams next 2 league matches could be quite telling:

Watford away - not an easy ground to go
Wolves home - lose this and the fans may turn as its an "auto" nailed on rival.

They play us soon, or this a new Charlton we're seeing?

A lot of their fans are 'Nuno out' already, so if they don't get at least 4 points from those 2 games then he's in trouble.

I think Nuno is gone if they don't win 1 of their next 2 - it'll be that quick

I know he's got the links to Amanda Staveley and she's just taken over a share of West Ham, but surely he can do a lot better?

Would be on the shortlist for almost all PL teams who sack their manager this season.

then they will be even more debt, they do have the makings of if not an immediate return to pl then languishing in champ for a few seasons i think.

i was skeptical of them or spuds coming down as most would be packed most weeks and get an immediate return.

i think after 10 games will see where they are and then can likely have a decent overview,

one thing that will skew the points total this season is no sheff weds who most teams were beating last year.

Can't see him dropping down to the championship when there will at some point in the coming months, probably be about 6-7 PL jobs up for grabs.
  • It’s such a touch league. Even Lincoln have looked decent in opening games and definitely not fodder. Preston look weakest but we’ll find out properly on Saturday won’t we

I e heard chat about hammers old boy Scott Parker getting the job. Certainly has pedigree of taking teams up from the championship.

As long as they then sack him if they get promoted.

Moving over from the rumours thread as I clicked the wrong one:

We need Patterson to start improving or Hollywood FC might decide to recall Okonkwo in January...

Conor Coady not even on the bench for Wrexham who don't even have the max amount of subs. Don't think he is coming here but definitely seems on the move

The amount they've spent on players (including wages) not involved, or moved on on the cheap, is obscene.

Nah, Parky seems to think Ward is better anyway so they won’t recall him I don’t think.

Still odd to me as I don’t think either Wrexham’s keepers are great and that Okonkwo is better than both.
