Everyone who wants to be disappointed will be.
  • Agree with comments above, we ought be offered, and accept, 5,800 tickets for this game.

10% being the rule, and 5,800 being the proximate figure their away configuration goes to.

Nothing to stop Tottenham offering more tickets our way, but wouldn't expect it.

Great draw, this is why I was getting annoyed with people saying they weren't fussed about the result on Saturday.

Is it 15% of capacity for away cup games?

Away fans can receive up to 15% of the total stadium capacity for domestic cup games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which translates to roughly 9,000 to 9,400 tickets subject to safety agreements. [1, 2]
People saying league cup is 10%

They may be right, the above is what I read coupled with my understanding.

I'd not be surprised if Totteringham had 50k of their own fans for this so it could be a hinderance for our increased allocation.

Fucking typical,  I go on holiday on the 19th

We get West ham away in the league and spurs away in the cup

    Cuuuuuuuuuuuts
You've had 3 months since the season ended to go away. Why pick to go 2 weeks into the new season 🤷‍♂️

Elfsborg sold 3000 tickets in 72 hours and wanted 1000 more but were turned down point blank, and the attendance was below capacity.

I hope the Club try and get  more than 5800 tickets , I think we won’t have any probs shifting 8-9K. As I was phase 8 (565 pts) for Hammers away & missed out  if it’s 5800 I hope it’s one ticket per season ticket as this will sell out easily. The ground is superb I saw Spurs V Man City a few years ago (friend let me his season ticket)  and seen a concert there. It’s a bit shiny corporate and swanky but the seating and closeness to the pitch make it a world class stadium , what a great draw… ole ole !!!

TC to sign a new contract just to play spurs? (He's a big arsenal fan)

Agree - they had 20,000 empty seats against Doncaster last season, so a sellout isn't guaranteed. But with no European football and with fewer games to attend this season - and we're a bit more of draw than Doncaster - your 50k in the home end sounds about right.

Like West Ham, it could well go to general sale in the home end.

You think they'll care about playing us? I can imagine plenty of empty seats in the home end. I wonder if claiming a large allocation means that we have to buy all the seats regardless of whether we sell them. Anyway, a good draw, feeling sorry for people on holiday.

I think that's a different scenario as Spurs had PL & CL season tickets all round the ground, in all parts of the ground apart from the regular 3k away end.

Is it a possibility it could be on Thursday 27th?

No idea how true but someone’s just told me it’s a reduced capacity due to a gig at their stadium the weekend before and the ground won’t be fully ready 🤷‍♂️

that’s why spurs asked for their first prem game to be away

away allocation of 2k….hoping that’s all bullshit

    Brilliant draw.

Our first game at Spurs since 2011 in the FA Cup, when Keith Peacock was caretaker manager?

Considering they're playing Hoffenheim at home on the 15th, I claim bollocks.

Their stadium is actually double booked that evening, so the game won't start until the Beyoncé concert finishes.

….as I said, I hope so - am in the Algarve at the moment and just picked up my phone after a day at a waterpark.

cracking draw, we should take as many tickets as we possibly can, we’d shift 9k with ease

I'm expecting this because it gives supporters a chance to go who do not have a season ticket there.
School holidays a decent weather as well.

West Ham and Spurs away double header in the space of three or four days.

Did I wake up in 2006? Love it.
