Why Foden wasn't included i'll never know. It's all too slow.
Have you ever watched Foden in an England shirt?

Henderson is pedestrian with his use of the ball. Slows everything down

He’s built a career on it.

Which is quite impressive when it's already so slow before he makes it even slower

    Pickford, Guehi, Stones, Rashford, Kane.

Only 5 players on the pitch that you’d hope get any minutes. It is really just a training match being televised.

No way Rogers is gonna challenge Bellingham at this rate

I’d add Rogers to that list.

He doesn’t need to challenge Bellingham. I expect Bellingham will play  alongside Rice.

Anderson will play in midfield to allow Rice to push forward

Kane looks as fresh as a daisy despite having played more minutes than probably anyone in this line up and being 32

He hasn’t been playing in as an intense league, Quansah also looked sharper at the end for the same reason

How does Foden speed it up? He’s been shocking for years when playing for England, and it’s finally caught up to him in Man City colours too.

Almost certain he starts Anderson and Rice together. He’d be mad not to, two of the best midfielders in the league this year.

I don’t think Rogers is bad at all, but Bellingham is world class.

    1-0 HT
    Possession 69-31
    Shots 14-2
On Target 3-1 (5 blocked, 6 off target)
    Touches in Box 19-3
    Corners 5-0

About as dominant as you’d expect.

Anderson and Rice the deeper two.

With Anderson’s £100m move to City close that’s £200m or so of Man City and Arsenals midfield. As good as anyone at the World Cup.

I put Bellingham behind Kane… flanked by any combination of Saka, Rashford, Gordon and Rogers

If it’s a choice between Bellingham and Rogers then yes, it’s obviously Bellingham.

I am looking forward to seeing Ngumoha play. Have been really impressed when I’ve seen him for Liverpool.

Henderson has been off the pitch 3 minutes and you can already see the ball being moved quicker.

Admittedly, this team also has probably the more dynamic players.
