Rashford has looked sharp1

Have you ever watched Foden in an England shirt?up_the_valley said:Why Foden wasn't included i'll never know. It's all too slow.12 -
Henderson is pedestrian with his use of the ball. Slows everything down2

He’s built a career on it.DamoNorthStand said:Henderson is pedestrian with his use of the ball. Slows everything down0 -
Which is quite impressive when it's already so slow before he makes it even slowerDamoNorthStand said:Henderson is pedestrian with his use of the ball. Slows everything down3 -
Pickford, Guehi, Stones, Rashford, Kane.
Only 5 players on the pitch that you’d hope get any minutes. It is really just a training match being televised.4 -
No way Rogers is gonna challenge Bellingham at this rate0
-
I’d add Rogers to that list.Laddick01 said:Pickford, Guehi, Stones, Rashford, Kane.

He doesn’t need to challenge Bellingham. I expect Bellingham will play alongside Rice.DamoNorthStand said:No way Rogers is gonna challenge Bellingham at this rate0 -
Anderson will play in midfield to allow Rice to push forwardThe Red Robin said:

1-0 Kane 45+20

Kane looks as fresh as a daisy despite having played more minutes than probably anyone in this line up and being 321

1-0 HT0

He hasn’t been playing in as an intense league, Quansah also looked sharper at the end for the same reasonDamoNorthStand said:Kane looks as fresh as a daisy despite having played more minutes than probably anyone in this line up and being 320 -
How does Foden speed it up? He’s been shocking for years when playing for England, and it’s finally caught up to him in Man City colours too.up_the_valley said:Why Foden wasn't included i'll never know. It's all too slow.6 -
Almost certain he starts Anderson and Rice together. He’d be mad not to, two of the best midfielders in the league this year. The Red Robin said:

Not much English interest for the game.

With Anderson’s £100m move to City close that’s £200m or so of Man City and Arsenals midfield. As good as anyone at the World Cup.
I put Bellingham behind Kane… flanked by any combination of Saka, Rashford, Gordon and Rogers

If it’s a choice between Bellingham and Rogers then yes, it’s obviously Bellingham.Laddick01 said:

Second half team: Pickford, James, Konsa, Burn, Livramento, Bellingham, Anderson, O’Reilly, Ngumoha (not in the WC squad), Toney, Gordon

I am looking forward to seeing Ngumoha play. Have been really impressed when I’ve seen him for Liverpool.2

Henderson has been off the pitch 3 minutes and you can already see the ball being moved quicker.Admittedly, this team also has probably the more dynamic players.2
