    Shame, definitely had something about him and was ‘raw’ enough to bring some excitement to games. 

    Hopefully a half decent fee and a good add on, as I think he’ll smash the Serbian league. Think we’ll see his name in English football again, if not possibly Italian! Just needs game time and to bulk up

    Don’t know how you’d determine half decent fee but if it’s more than say 50k I’d be surprised, and pleased.

    Seemed to start well at Crawley, but fell away badly to non inclusion in the matchday squad. 

    Played 16 times for them and then recalled due to his lack of minutes..  I assume that the Charlton staff would advise him on his best way forward independently of his agency?

    Odd transfer all round. 

    Fair play for Dixon trying to make a career for himself over here but really shouldn't have happened.

    Made more appearances for his country than in a Charlton Athletic first team game 

    Not a Jones signing and Dixon’s appearance in the Football League Trophy v Leyton Orient will stick long in the memory bank. Was like Jones was proving a point to another individual at the football club that now do you see he’s not ready yet.

    Seems like a lovely kid, but there’s obviously something lacking that coaches have noticed. Good luck to him.

    It'll be the physical side of the game, he's naturally quite short and very skinny. Compare him to someone like Campbell and you can see that Tyreece naturally has a wider frame that can hold more muscle mass. Coming through the Jamaican domestic league won't have helped with that early physical development that a lot of kids in European leagues get, and to overcome that you have to be an absolute magician on the ball. 

    End of the day we took a punt on him and it hasn't really worked out, but it hasn't been a detriment to the club either. We all move on and when he's playing against Everton in the Europa Conference league group stages for Debrecen in 4 years time, we can all point and be like "hey, I know that player"

    I'm disappointed. He looked like the kind of wildcard player you rarely see in football anymore. He had a moment of genius in him, but I guess you have to do a lot more these days.

    Would've thought he'd have been better sliding down the English leagues or maybe even up Scotland, unless there was literally no interest at all....

    He was worth a punt I suppose. Shame it didn't work out. Good luck to him - a smashing lad by all accounts.

    Had hopes for him, but against Dulwich he failed to perform and since then never looked like knocking on Jones' door.

    Time will tell if he can step up and add to his ability with strength. He still has Jamaican national team to build on his wider experience. His last competitive goal was against the mighty India and I think his only goal at the Valley.

    Wish him all the best for a long and fruitful career in the game....... quite an adventure so far...... represents his country internationally and playing for clubs from Jamaica to SE7 then Serbia...... well done him!!

    I always found the amount of appearances he’s got for Jamaica to be utterly Bizzare

    We’ve got younger academy players who can offer that and look like they’ll cope better physically in Reuben Reid and Raynon Richman. Both only 17/18.

    Good luck to the boy, at least he benefitted out of this ridiculous signing.  No fault of his of course and hopefully he will go on to a career in football he did not envisage 3 years ago.

    I think a lot of the sentiment around Dixon is wrapped up in the romanticism in the idea of a young lad being plucked from relative obscurity in Jamaica and becoming a star for us. 

    It would’ve been great but it’s been clear for quite some time he wasn’t going to make it here. Another Chris Dickson. 

    Wish him well but don’t see this one coming back to bite us.

    Good luck to the boy. There was lovely video of him on the official site visiting the Caribbean takeaway by the ground during that international tournament we did. Seemed like a very likeable character and was yamming down the food (a good advert for the place) haha!

    He was at the FK Novi Pazar game today with the rest of the team. Not on the team sheet though. I know it’s a paperwork issue but has to be done, surely?
