I suspect the usual and most sensible/cost effective way for going to any game, home or away, for most of us is to have a drink along the way and then, according to time and personal preference, have a drink in the ground.

NP will always be busy but not as rammed as WHL straight after the end of a game.  Trains tend to be quicker getting back to Liv St too.  There are trains from NP/Tottenham Hale to Stratford as well to consider, thats the route my best mate takes every game.

I read earlier that someone posted about issues with SE trains from Victoria after a certain time.  If someone can direct me to the info I'd appreciate it as I wasn't aware and I need to get back to Bromley South after as I don't really want to lay out for a cab from Orpington home!

Routes affected:
All routes via Lewisham

Engineering work is taking place overnight in the Lewisham area, closing some lines.

From approximately 23:15, trains will not be able to stop at Lewisham. Trains via Bexleyheath will not run or will be diverted to run via Sidcup, and trains will be unable to run between Lewisham and Hayes.

On Monday and Tuesday, most trains on the Hayes line will finish slightly earlier, with only one train leaving London after 22:30, the 23:18 London Charing Cross to Hayes.

Accessible replacement buses will run on the following routes:

• London Bridge and Dartford / Gravesend via Bexleyheath
• London Bridge and Dartford via Lewisham and Woolwich (Wednesday and Thursday only)
• London Bridge / Lewisham and Hayes (Monday and Tuesday only)
• London Bridge and Dartford via Sidcup (00:50 from London Bridge only)
• London Bridge and Orpington (01:10 from London Bridge only)

I went on National Rail journey planner for trains back to Bromley after and there were no issues.  Business as usual.

Yep, no problem.  Busy but its staggered as everyone makes the journey at different times, unlike when everyone leaves at the same time.

If you're thinking abiut jumping on a train at Seven Sisters to get to WHL, its easier to walk!

Most Cafes allow away fans and serve beer. I use La Barca mostly. Full of Albanian mafia on non match days but fine for games (my imagination might be running away with me).

The odd goal wins it and that could go either way.

We may be competitive but personally I am not expecting an upset.
It's a big night out for the fans nothing more, we won the one that mattered last Saturday.

I would have thought avoiding relegation was more important than any cup match which is quickly forgotten if league form picks up.
