Was really good tonight had safe hands everything stuck was a couple moments first half on corners where he was a bit shaky but the defence took care of it anyway.

How good is it to finally have a proper keeper?

We Now have a keeper that wI’ll genuinely win us points as he did last night with that save from Smyth

He’s definitely an upgrade that’s for sure.

still feel he could be a bit more dominant at corners when the ball is in his 6 yard box but maybe that’s not his game, he came and missed 1 in the first half last night.

It's definitely not his game as per Wrexham fans, that was one thing that was always seen as his weakest factor.
But on current evidence he's the best keeper we've had in the Jones era - I doubt we get a point last night with Mannion or Kaminski in goal.
  • Much, much better than Mannion and Kaminski.

Not dominant in the air by any stretch but very good otherwise.

Arthur is very clearly a major upgrade on TK.

But I am sure thats the kind of save I remember TK making to win us a points a few times last season - lets not rewrite history.

It is the lack of command in coming for corners / crosses that was the main issue for me. His one on one shot stopping won us a fair few points.

Specifically against QPR as well. In the 0-0 last season we should have won and were kept out by their dodgy keeper having a miraculously good game, but then right at the death they went through on goal and Kaminski rushed out and saved the points. It felt incredibly familiar when Okonkwo made that save, I'm surprised it's being used as a stick to beat Kaminski with
  • Hope we're negotiating to buy him in January for a small fee, out of contract in the Summer.

Don't have to wait until January do we?

Saving 1 on 1s was literally the only thing Kaminski was quite good at with us

Okonkwo looks a huge upgrade across all other areas, and last night showed he’s got the big moment 1on1 save in his locker too

He lost us far more points than he won us, even including in those games where he pulled off good saves.
Every goalkeeper is going to make good saves, it doesn't make them a good goalkeeper.

He was. For me the main improvement is hard to explain exactly but it feels like now the keeper is part of the defence instead of it being the defence and then the keeper as two separate units.

Okonkwo - decent keeper, still youngish (25) with room to be improved

Kaminski - not a decent keeper

Mannion - Ok, loss of main strength and couple howlers not yet seen out of Okonkwo, still better all round keeper than kaminski imo

the fizzing ball across our box that he held last night would have been parried out by either Kaminski or Mannion and who knows who would have been on the end of the parry

Hasn't played a minute of the internationals yet but I just noticed that Nigeria are playing a friendly against Russia on Tuesday which seems a very odd fixture. Looks like Russia have played a few African teams this year

Nothing corrupt going on between these two…
