That last Taty effort, my Ouma would've done better than that

Carey so frustrating! Am using meditation techniques to balance the passing wastage with the long throw!

    Carey mucks it up again.

He's going to get pulled at ht if he carries on like this
Only person not at the top of their game. Still think JRS comes in and Grant will go CAM. Carey will drop to then bench.

Anyway enough of that. Outstanding first half - McNamara and Leaburn both superb

How much did Engels cost West Ham. He’s passed it to us more than them!

Is it fair to say... NJ can play more than one way

The comments about how bad the hammers have been is music to my ears, every side says that against us when we play well, yet it’s the opposition playing bad not us doing well😂

Still can't believe Lloyd Jones scored an overhead kick

That #10 role is going to be so important to push us up the table and I'm not sure either Carey or Knibbs are capable.

West Ham fans pointing out new signings etc.

Debut for our keeper today. Two of the back four new for us and two in midfield.

Rankin Costello for Carey first sub please.
    Knibbs for me, more legs

Close call - R-C sees a pass better IMHO but wouldn't complain if it were Knibbs - or Alli on the right and Grant in the middle.
Im not sure either of knibbs’ or JRCs legs will get them into the same positions as carey.

Carey just needs to make the right decision once! Come on sonny, we believe

Great half, a well taken goal, looked calm at times, organised and broke forward alright when the chance has been there, Carey's decision making is still a bit pants, very head down, Chalobah quiet but I'll take that as a good sign considering.

Lost a bit of the threat as the half went on, TC moving to the right has killed us a little but it's 0-1 to us and they've had what, one weak shot on target?

Okonkwo has slotted in between the sticks very nicely (albeit, not tested much yet)

Couldn't ask for a better start.

Feels a tight half with two sides cancelling each other out, bar a moment of magic from Lloydy
We've looked more threatening going forward, but feel it would be more damning if we had West Ham's talent... Probably going to need a second goal, as cant see Nuno being happy with that, and will want to see an early response, so need to be very prepared for them Second Half
Carey needs to be careful, he's having an okay game, had a couple of decent opportunities, but he's been so wasteful and worse he's been lackadaisical in Defence at times... and that always feels the more costly with Nathan Jones watching on

Charlton screwing my bet up as it stands. Give Carey and Bell another 10 then change it up somehow.

He is much better when he is alongside Marx.
  • Wow. Some real heroes out there. And unfortunately Sonny Carey.

Okonkwo looks so calm and confident, a far cry from TK or Mannion

Campbell having another good game. But Leaburn outstanding so far.

But as for Carey. Oh dear. He's had 2 or 3 chances on the break to set something up but mucked everyone up.Make the change now and get Knibbs on.

Knibbs not really had a run at it. Carey should have laid that right to Leaburn.

Leaburn and Danny Mc both playing well. TC has a swagger this season

I know it sounds cocky and is tempting fate but they are there for the taking on the counter . It could be perfect for Mbick to get his first Championship goal.

Also, didn't really get to see much of the Derby game, the difference Chalobah, Grant and even McNamara make is, without being spectacular, noticeable.

Been impressed with your first half.
Final ball a bit of a let down but that'll come.
West Ham look poor.  Mavropanos always looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Finish Wet Spam off and then take down Spurs next.

Wonder if we'll see Leaburn rested for Mbick at some stage in the second half
Seems a naturally obvious swap you'd expect to see
West Ham happy to see Leaburn go off and then replaced by an even bigger forward.

Oops just checked and Leaburn is taller.

Solid half from AO. Not really been tested,  but safe handling.

I'm impressed with how much defensive work Karlan does. Definitely something he's added to his game while he was away.
