There can’t be a worse team in the league than us surely. Absolute dog shit.

I think we should bring on Nke...Oh, not on the bench again? Never mind
  • Can we pass a ball?

I'd be furious if I were Kelman.

Started with service not he ground and managed to score. Then service switches to pumping the ball long... He's 5ft 8 on a good day what do you want him to do with that service ffs.

Starting to get the feeling that NJ coaches the lads how to play but they're only able to follow instructions for 20 minutes, but as the game goes on they can't cope and just lose their shape and fail to play simple passes. It's very odd.

Who knew this midfield would be shit.

At least it's not Coventry and Skipp
Honestly Skipp is gonna be the new scapegoat. The issue is we dont have box to box option with more pace where you can get away with a slower player next to them.

Skipp is better on the ball than Coventry. Issue is you cant play him next to JRC so we are stuck with Cov by default.

Said in the match thread I would play Skipp and Mwamba and stick by that. Best of a bad bunch of options.

Apart from the goal we have not really created anything of note. Started well, had them on the ropes but let them off the hook. They are dangerous on the break and but for Billy they'd have scored another. 1-1 a fair reflection so far.

It’s just crap. You can’t live off 20 decent minutes every match.
It's actually improved a bit under Jones but fallen away since Bowyer was in charge (Under jones gone from 15 mins per game, under Bow we always had 1 half.)

    Coventry very error prone today.
Grant needs to come off- lets try Mbick up along Kelman.

Second half we need mor of the same as the first 20 minutes, we should have been 2-0 up by then, changes needed, Mesik for Edwards and anyone for Grant, probably Knibbs...
  • Coventry, Grant and Edwards all having stinkers.

last 15 minutes was something like 90% posession for them, with over 100 completed passes we had 5
  • As others have said need at least two players subbed at Half time. Personally I would sub 3. Grant/Coventry  for me.

After the last 20 mins, releived to still be level. NJ needs to shake things up or we will lose this.

Been better this week compared to recent games, but then I think our survival hinges on our ability to grind out the points at the Valley more so than what we achieve on the road - We're never going to control games at this level with our sort of budgets, not against teams like Norwich who should once again be doing a lot better what they are with the talent they've got at their disposal.
Just continues to show the gap between the Championship and the years we've been allowed to waste away in League One... If you've got the funds over the years to build an established team, you can still look better than a side recently promoted even when out of form!!
  • Teams must love playing against us.

Norwich have not won in 6 games, we score against them early - yet we then still allow them to see loads of the ball and build up confidence.

I said it at the QPR game, you’re not going to pick up points if you continuously cede that much control of games.

And we do it every week.

Even if we sneak a 2-1 win, I’ll be bloody happy, but it won’t have been good enough in my opinion.

It’s basically a carbon copy of the Bristol city game so far

Midfield recruitment was an absolute disgrace. Ouma has gone AWOL, Skipp now banished. Docherty and Coady were MUCH better than this shit.
  • Usual story. Start off well, really good first 20 minutes, score excellent goal. Then get pushed back, get put under constant pressure and concede inevitable equaliser.

    All so predictable and dispiriting

Started very well but couldn’t keep the intensity up. Also, I think we got scared when they got in behind us a couple of times so the players dropped deeper to try to stop that happening. Exposes a few conundrums we have: Kelman scores, but doesn’t hold up the ball like leaburn. Campbell seems to play better with leaburn on the pitch (probably because they also need to make sure someone is on leaburn at all times). I do like the DM 2 cms in midfield though and think that solves our ten issue. Mesik on for the second half please.

While Coventry has been poor I don’t think anyone on the bench would be better

Are you good enough to cover both of them?

Mwamba has had some promising spurts but he isn't at the right level yet

Not having Ramsay as the worst out there. Frivolous.

It's like as soon as Norwich players adapt to how we play, our players haven't got a clue what to do and no one out there is capable of adapting and taking back control and they just wait to get more instructions from NJ.
