  • So in the past few days I've seen some of you lot want Youga and now Wright back!

I can't tell you how ridiculous that is.
  • Don't think he gets many games for Millwall now.
  • Should join Wimbledon,
They have Barry Fuller, Harry Pell and Azeez in their squad.
without checking did they not all make 1 app for CAFC.
  • I thought barry fuller might have made it seemed a decent player
  • Azeez on

harveysgardner wanted Youga back. He also wants Connor Gough back.
Please don't tar us all with the same brush :-)

That other ex-Charlton player dumping ground.
  • If only he had been as good as he thought he was.
  • He was Charlton Legend in my eyes, although I am referring to Football Manager2008

20 for penalty taking in fm07.

Will never forget that winning penalty in the shootout of the uefa cup final v AC Milan in the 2016/17 season, only 2 years till it becomes a reality.
  • Millwall fans gave him loads yesterday regarding the recent passing of his nan.
Not a single ounce of class at that club.

Yeah but then not a single gram of class in his family either.

Gave him 'loads'? Are you sure about that? Was so isolated the vast majority of people at the ground didn't even know anything about it until they got home and read about it on message boards.

C***ish act and not justifying it but don't make out it was a major incident. It wasn't. It was a couple of c**** acting like a couple of c*****.

  • ^ this is not the Millwall board. Please take your language elsewhere.

Apologies. I'll add stars. To be honest I thought the board automatically did it. Ours does.
  • My millwall mate went in friends box ooooooerrrr and he hadn't been for a while and when I asked what it was like at half time he responded " we're not that good and have some right muppet fans"

Wouldn't disagree with that. Do you call him scum? ;-)

Isolated? National newspapers reporting on it and Wright family members tweeting about it is hardly isolated is it?also it promted gills fans to sing his name out in response, so it can't of been that minor, can it...
  • What did they say ?
  • It was West Ham fans.

Don't let facts get in the way of our fans looking to elevate cafc fans as being socially superior to millwall!!

Bit harsh - I know his uncle (Dad's brother) and he's a thoroughly nice and genuine bloke.

So do you think the Nationals picked up on it because it was a major incident involving hundreds of our fans or because the Wrights tweeted about it? And the Gills fans sang in support of josh Wright because they saw him react to something (and that's fair enough) and he was in the thick of the ensueing fracas, not because they heard what was said.
In the same week that Millwall FC received a letter from Great Ormond Street, saying that out of all the London clubs they collected at recently our fans donated the most. And that's going up against clubs who get 4 or 5 times what we get at home. But because of some distasteful comments from a couple of divs there's 'not a single ounce of class at that club'. That's the level of generalisation I'd expect from a bigot or a racist.
I could bore you with some other 'classy' facts about Millwall that rarely make the press. The awards won for our work in the community, the support both our fans and the club give to the Mizen family and the Jimmy Mizen foundation, the money raised by our fans for the young West Ham player Dylan Tombides cut down in his prime by cancer, and the wreath sent by the club to his funeral, the camo limited edition poppy kits sold off with all procedes going to Headley Court, the continued support we always give to our armed forces, the money we raise for the likes of Headley court and Help for Heros is phenomenal for a club of our side. I could go on. But as a club we 'don't have an ounce of class', because of some comments from a couple of dick heads to Josh Wright. Ha

Always came across as a nice bloke to me, and don't blame him for reacting yesterday. I'd have done the same.
