2 points lost but barnsley looked the best team we've seen so far and if we can only score one and they can score one then that's the only statistic that matters so fair result...

Apart from Ambrose's contribution the thing I was most disappointed with was ZZ in front of goal. He had at least three really good chances to motor through a backing off defence and test their keeper but he seems to sh*t himself once he gets up to the pen area. His goal bailed him out a bit, he needs to back himself a lot more.

A striker is reckoned to have a good goals return of he scores 1 goal from 3 chances. ZZ scored 1 goal from 3 chances.

But ZZ isn't a striker, he's a midfielder getting through a massive amount of work during 90 minutes. The fact, that he also has the nous to read the game well with good movement, getting into goal scoring positions is to his credit.

Even the best strikers never take all their chances.

    having had time to think

    2 points dropped

    BUT

this is going to happen to us in this league

teams are going to come to us & battle their socks off & if they get a point they'll celebrate like they've just won the FA Cup

we should take it as a compliment & carry on playing as we have & the team work will come & mark my words....................we'll scrape through to the play offs ;-)
