Assisting an elderly relative and the TV is on. All of the adverts are either extremely poor value credit/loan products or emotive ads designed to get pensioners or those with a poor financial understanding part with as much of their money as possible for schemes they don't need.
Scammers don't need to call up anymore to prey on the elderly, apparently they can just stick an advert on the telly and rake it in from those unfortunate enough to be watching daytime telly.2 -

Probably a whoosh but if SouthEastern hadnt delayed my first train by 10mins I wouldnt have been late so I wouldnt have needed to runiainment said:
People who're late for trains and expect everyone else to get out of their way. It's your problem, don't make it other people's as well.ForeverAddickted said:The bloke who couldnt be bothered to get out my way yesterday when I was running to make my connecting train... Ultimately it was probably my own fault as was asking for it to happen seeing that the floor was wet and slippery but I've damned good balance and it was having to try and swerve round him that did the damage.
If you see someone running maybe its for a damned good reason so please just move out the way!!
As it is I slipped a good few yards as I tried to stay on my feet yet wasnt able to and went down, bashing my knees in that soft spot which cripples you for a few moments!!1 -

My train gets into Rochester @ 17:48... my next train leaves @ 17:58 - Is totally out of my control as Im not the bloody one driving the train
Id agree with you if there were minutes between the two (meaning Im the one taking the risk of making it regardless) yet I've allowed myself plenty of time given the normal circumstances!!!0 -

B & Q paint counters.
Never, ever a member of staff available and when the duty paint advisor does show up, they are so unbelievably cheery and nice that you can’t be mad at them.0 -

The BBC computer nerds bringing in i-player version 2, but not allowing you to run version 1 alongside it. This means you have to watch everything you have downloaded on version 1 before installing version 2, or you will lose it or have to download it again. Not the end of the world, but a nuisance nonetheless. Still not as annoying as not being able to download anything on ITV or C4.0

The other one is when they leave there umbrellas in stupid places and it starts dripping over people.cafcdave123 said:People getting on the train soaking wet and just sitting straight down in their wet coat soaking the person next to them.

Also, had some fat lump sitting next to me this morning, he was soaked to bone, rain water and sweat dripping everywhere, whilst breathing like it was his last breath. My full seat suddenly turned in to 1/4 of a seat. I wonder if his ticket covered 1 3/4 spaces on the train? Honestly thought i was was at a pig farm rather than on a train.
It’s the last time I get the train with @DaveMehmet

When you need to use the lifts... Rather than getting in one and pressing the button, you have to go to this console screen and press the floor you want with the screen telling you which lift to get into - the amount of times I get an electric shock from the console is unreal (pretty much a daily basis)
Its not a light shock either, if I need a shock to save my life one day, just stick my finger on there and I'll be back to normal again!!5 -
