I don't get Jim White's approach to his job. He's meant to be a football reporter, but seems more interested in taking selfies with them like some sort of roady. Often on his twitter feed is him with his arm round one like a fan. Odd0

Isn't it more that the channel (101 for example) is national while channel 1 is regional.
So when the local news comes on and it says switch to 1 it's simply because they can't display different shows to the entire country on 101.0 -

People who get offended on behalf of others. We were having a relaxed afternoon at work with bot much going on so there was a fair bit of chatter. It turned out that one girl on my team didnt know whete italy was even though she'd been there 3 times. It was then put to her that she had studied geography at university. Her reply was "we didn't just spend the whole time looking at maps you know" to which I replied "no, you spent it colouring them in". Standard joke about geography degrees. Everyone laughed and found it funny including the person it was aimed at. Then another girl on my team (who is a right bitch -but more on that later) who wasn't even part of the conversation starts off about how I am so rude and I should show respect to people and not put down their qualifications. Then it turns out this girl had never studied geography and just likes getting offended.8
