Good post BFR but in order for Gray and Varney to "click" they need a prolonged run together. With so many front players to accommodate with Toddy sure to be on bench I just can`t see how Pardew will keep them interested. Fleetwood and Dickson are gambles which we all hope come off but can we expect both to be happy to go out on loan which would be my prefered option for them. Still leaves Big Chris and McLeod ! As for midfield, I still say we need that playmaker not ballwinner to come in. If both Thomas and Ambrose are still with us then this will be their make or break season. Both are potential prem quality but don`t deliver on a regular basis. If Pardew doesn`t resolve the midfield problem well enough then I think we should look elsewhere for our manager. If we can all see we are crying out for a midfielder then surely so must board and Pards.
