Without going all PC (!!) myself what's wrong with it. It's 60 minute TV show that you can sit back and watch. The Boudicca one was interesting as was the slavery one.
It's a bit XFiles where the writer has some leeway to express a differing view or exaggerate a story.
I have finally finished watching one episode, and to be honest whilst it is not the height of television drama it is relatively harmless fun.
You need to suspend you disbelief a fair bit but as long as you are able to switch off the part of you that wants to condemn this as unbelievable it is a fairly pleasant way to spend an hour - I think it would fit better in a Sunday evening slot than a prime weekday schedule though and the script is a little too earnest and on the nose at points
One episode about slaves escaping to the UK, one with a chrachter who was a black US presidental candidate, the show seems to show an inter racial relationship.
Don't really know what I am meant to agree or disagree on ...
It's bonkers. The sparkly Boudicca last week was a bit daft, but the dodgy CGI snake getting speared by Dolly's brolly this week had me laughing my arse off. It's not serious drama, but it's quite good fun.

The last straw will be Dr Who and it is coming.
