Yep, bang on littlesis.
Scored a cracking couple of goals against Arsenal at Sh!tfield one Christmas.
We still lost 3-2, but we gave the Arse one hell of a run for their money.
He was the 17 year old 70's wunderkind who lost his way and ended up at Sparrows Lane 10 years later.
Last I heard of him, he was playing for Shrewsbury, I think?0 -

I find it hard to have a go at players for being poor in the 80s - we were bankrupt for part of it, homeless for most of it and potless for all of it. The players we had good or bad came because we had no money and therefore had to take a chance on youth team players, reserves from other clubs and those who were stepping up a division or two.0
