I can't see it happening, or if they did reunited it would collapse due to Axl. Probably the first band I ever got into yet have never had any interest in seeing the new Axl band. Guns 2 Roses are a good cover band, they had Ben Dover playing drums for them a couple of weeks ago.

That's the problem with the 'real' Guns N' Roses. Nobody other than Axl really considers them to be anything more than a GNR cover band!

Funny enough I'm going to see Slash tonight here in Prague. Only discovered its on on Monday, completely under promoted, and in some large shed about the size of the old Croydon Greyhound, but much more err...gritty. .I'm not a G&R fan at all but I think he's good, so I thought why not, the missus is out, bought the ticket on the net, few stops on the tram.that's Prague for you

Anyone know what stuff he's doing on this tour?

I've seen Slash live twice in recent years with Myles Kennedy on vocals and he's been doing a great job but on his game Axl can still nail it

There's YouTube footage of Fergie from Black Eyed Peas performing Sweet Child Of Mine with Slash and she was pretty damn good! Hers is also my favourite song from the 'Slash' album.

Seems I'm pretty lucky as its only a 5 city tour, and quite interesting location choices, after this he's off to Lodz in Poland and then Minsk. Good on him

The touring lineup is Slash on guitar, Myles Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass and vocals, Brent Fitz on drums and Frank Sidoris and guitar and vocals.

About a third of the set list might be G&R stuff, it says, including Sweet Child of Mine

Well, this scruffy shed is great, there are no seats, and there are lots of portable beer trolleys scattered around, you just wander off and get a refill while he's changing guitars. I'll do my best to get tanked.

Youtube maybe. I used to have some ECW episodes on VHS. Also the time I was recording all the WWF ppvs late 90s/early 2000. I've got the 'over the edge' (I think that was what it was called) one when Owen dies

still on tape. The show I wished I'd recorded was the RAW tribute of that week. All of them did so well. You could Jeff Jarrett and Deborah McMichael visibly upset in their promo after the Owen Hart incident. Terrible

GnFR at Wembley was my first gig too. Date was definitely 31st August, pretty sure it was 1991, support acts were Nine Inch Nails (really crap live although I love their stuff now) and someone else who I really can't remember. Use Your Illusion Tour. "Get in the Ring" was awesome live - how about singing that from the Covered End to Roland? ;-)

Truly brilliant band in their day. The absolute definition of what a modern day, dangerous rock band should be.

Saw the new incarnation at the O2 a few years back and was actually pleasantly surprised. Played a three hour set (that went on until about 1am!) and Axl can still push his voice.
