There's a whole thread on the Hammers forum about Randolph, his ex and what Boro and West Ham knew about the situation before his signing. Sounds like a complete cluster.
Probably best not to link to it, but if you search Darren Randolph in Twitter you'll see something potentially related to why he's not playing...
Her story has 36K views and yet it isn't, as such, in the public domain. Nor have any charges been made?
He was on the bench on Monday and the only reason he wasn't playing was because Fabianski is/was the number one. It may be true but would explain why he went missing ("injured") from November to January at Middlesbro'. Presumably this was disclosed to West Ham but they signed him anyway?
Rob Elliott has played 54 games in NINE seasons at Newcastle - incredible really and he has not played a single game in the last two seasons.
Nice work if you can get it but it's incredible to think that a guy of 34 may not play first team football ever again - and yet could still retire as a multi-millionaire.
will
Depends how he spends it
Ha...
i understand, (and this is 3rd hand) that he is investing wisely, has no issues with not playing, has a fantastic lifestyle and will see out his contract a very happy person with no intention of coming back south. Of course this could all be 3rd hand bollocks and he may be up to his knees in prostitutes and cocaine - either way, good luck to him.
Think that article I posted where he says he fell out of love with the game says otherwise
Well he can't be that bothered about not playing, or else he would have left, whether permanently or on loan
He might say he'd like to play more, but actions speak louder than words
He is under contract until the summer, if the club dont want to sell himt they wont sell him its simple.
He cant force the club to sell him?
Its not even like he is a Pgba type player with player power, be interesting to see what he does when his contract is over
Clueless.
Likewise when a contract came to an end he could have moved elsewhere. He's stayed for the wedge, pure and simple.
Clearly its you who is clueless
Rob Elliott signed a long term extension in 2016 that ends this year, he has NOT signed any contracts in the 2 years he has not been playing, and when his contract ends he likely will move and not stay.
Maybe look things up before you open your mouth and call people clueless, its easy enough to find, just Google Rob Elliott contract and you wont look stupid next time

Elliot signed the new deal when Newcastle got relegated. He had just been named their player of the season I believe. So it was a reasonable contract to sign at the time even ignoring the financial reward.
But, I think it's fairly obvious he is happy to pick up his wages and get splinters. I don't blame him to be honest, would do the same.

Any one of them would have done us proud.
