    Why? He has been knocking around the Championship for a few years and played final 3 months of last season on loan at MK Dons.

    If it wasn't for the fact that it would leave us with 2 senior strikers, I could see some mileage in it.

    Cashing in on a soon to be 32 year old with one year left on his contract would make sense if you don't intend to offer him a new deal.

    He starts tonight's game though, so I'm doubting he'll leave - even if the bid is genuine.

    If it is true I am sure the bid will be rejected.

    I like Benno. He works hard and is a better player than a lot of fans give him credit for. Him and Hayes will be challenging for the 2nd striker role alongside BWP.

    Even though he may be starting tonight I can see this happening. If he wasn't involved tonight we'd have two strikers having to play 90 minutes each. As long as we can replace him with someone better then I'll trust CP.
